I don't know what to say about this. It had the thing to put the tray on like a km where its not rounded but has small presses made into it, had a km hose port. cb1021 Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 I find my KM Exotica pulls extremely smooth. The down stem is at least 20% thicker, and the hose is also 10-15% thicker at least. Exotica being 40", is a monster. But I think the 40" is more for design than for function, as one of the downfalls of the Exotica is that you have to use a lot of breath, before you can get smoke (after purging for example) since the long and thick stem holds so much air that you need to vaccuum out. Also I am not sure about other KMs, but Exotica stem is hollow. There is a center tube, and the curvy design around it is more like a shell, not solid molded. It weighs only about 2lb. Becareful, it may dent easily. Also it appears to be machine made, definitely off a production line. Anyhow, after reading all the positive notes about KM, and after getting one, those are my thoughts. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My collection is coming along nicely if I say so myself. and, yes the Faridat is a sweet hookah, by far my favorite. I find it to be a perfect mix of style, portability, and smokability. I smoke out of it like 80% of the time, the Exotica is great to but like stated, its more for form then function. The double pear smokes really nicely as well. It came with the Grand hose as opposed to the KM hose, not sure yet if thats a good or a bad thing. But damn, had a smoke from it yesterday and I'm converted.
