If I were persuing a start up like that.....thats what I would be looking for. It's Bistro Chic, man!
DizzyGuy
Like I said earlier, it's a visually appealing place... it's good to stand out like the because it catches the eye more and makes giving directions easier But yeah, a small bar and just a cozy place is def the way to go, even if it's just to start off. If this idea takes off, you can always get a satalite store or move to a bigger one.

SanguineSolitude
yeah like lb said. a sweet music system playing sweet chilled out electronica like thievery corporation, air, dj shadow, etc. and some traditional music. maybe have a couple theme nights.awesome looking place

Scalliwag
The place may be small but it is very nice. Like a lot of what people have already said, like a cozy place, etc. are good descriptions. And the obvious plusses like so many things already in place like the kitchen area looks ready to go. With the restrictions on startup funds the place is especially perfect. Once you get this going it would be much easier to get funding for a bigger place if you decide to go bigger later. How far is this from the other place you were looking at?
Adi
The place looks great and nice expresso machine too! Best of luck. AdiP.S. What is a stacker?

SanguineSolitude
a stacker is a sandwhich stacked high with meats and such. like a hoagie, sub, grinder, etc.so smokestackers... clever
