Just a video (Slideshow) I made in Windows Movie Maker, of a trip I went on with my new friends from Work. Why I made it, and why am I sharing it? Dunno, may be because this is pretty much the first time I have made something like this, and that's because this was pretty much the first time that I went out of town with friends (Yes, I am 25, and before this, I had never gone on a trip with my mates. Welcome to India).

Also, I have a reason to share it, since it includes hookah. I took it with me there and all my friends fell in love with it. Almost everyone there smoked it, but somehow, I don't have pics of everyone smoking it, otherwise the video would have been a lot better. But here it is.

Also, we had an extended weekend on the 1st of this month (had the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd off), so we went to a very very secluded hill station (The majority of hill stations here have become major tourist spots, both for locals, and foreigners, and you can hardly enjoy there because they are extremely crowded).

The one I went to is called Lansdowne, Uttarakhand. The place was simply out of this world. Greenery, Mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and it is so high up in the mountains, that we had clouds beneath us. It is still largely undiscovered, so much so that none of us had even heard about the place before going there, and when we went there, we were the only people in the entire resort that we had booked.

Again, I had taken my hookah with me, and it was a bliss to smoke outdoors, in the mountains while enjoying the serenity of that place. Just some pics (Sorry, there are no pics of the hookah here, because we didn't have a dslr this time around, and the one we did have had a crappy battery which always seemed to die at the wrong time).

This was when we were passing by a river and everyone was feeling pretty sleepy in the car (We had left for the trip, immediately after a 10 hour night shift), so we stopped the car and jumped into the river.

It was awesome fun! Then we lit up the hookah right on the bank, with our feet still in the water, and had a fantastic session with AF watermelon mint. Some more pics.

See the rock they are standing on? That's where we had our second session (with a few beers of course).

Now, this is the resort we stayed at, and we had awesome sessions there as well. The view from this place was just breathtaking.

And finally, this is a bonfire we had at night, but it wasn't an ordinary one. Actually, it just so happened that as soon as we poured some fuel on the wood and lit it up, there was a heavy downpour which ruined the whole thing, and forced everyone in their rooms. After that I, and 3 friends of mine who were in the same room put on some music, drank for a few hours and talked about random things. We noticed that the rain had stopped so we went outside just for a stroll and saw the wood which had gotten horribly wet, but the timber pieces had a bad luck that night, because the 4 of us were drunk, pissed off at the rain, and determined, so we accumulated all the plastic we could find, with a few packets of tissue paper and tried to light it all up, but the wood still didn't catch fire. Still drunk, and now even more pissed off, we went into the room and brought back all the undergarments we could find, and lit them all up. [img]http://www.nargilenation.com/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.png[/img] which made a nice fire for a while, but it still couldn't light the wood, and so finally, we picked up one of the plastic chairs (resort property), and put it on the fire.

Had an awesome bonfire after that which lasted till the morning, and all 4 of us smoked and drank while enjoying the sunrise which was just gorgeous!

Has anyone ever had such awesome sessions that are special for whatever reason and you think you'd never ever forget?

I did. :D And I was surprised that I did. Being the introvert that I am, I don't usually make friends in such a short while. but fortunately I've got a brilliant group of people up there. :)
