Dereksd
so glass screens are for the jet glass phunnel which is a smaller sized phunnel(bout 20-25 grams)which i consider my mini phunnel to be.if tarik sees this im sure he can answer but maybe someone else knows if a glass screen would fit my mini phunnel.yes i know they are all different and what not but just wondering if it will be close
iamscott06
My Medium Phunnel Screen fits on my small phunnel.. It just hangs off the edge a bit but its not a problem, still smokes fine.. As long as the screens not to small you shouldnt have a problem.Hope this helps a bit..
Dereksd
well im thinkin then if your medium phunnel screen fits your small then a jet glass screen should be close enough for my mini

NickReppinThe909
the one for a mediun phunnel works on my small and mini phunnel. the mini phunnel is still larger than a jet glass though
Bulldog_916
Is it that much trouble to use foil? Seriously?
NickReppinThe909
bulldog once you get the glass screen you will burn your foil. also the benefits go far beyond just not using foilits also great for hippie types because you cut down on manufacturing the aluminum foil
hookah hippie
use a glass screen I have one with my jet and in about 10 years it will pay for itself for all the foil I won't buy
NickReppinThe909
ten years hippie ? you must not smoke much at all i use about $10 in foil every 2 months (2 rolls at about $5.29)
mattarios2
just ordered a glass screen, told mnh the size and dimension of my bowl so they can send a screen that will fit best, as I will be using it on my small phunnel.Only question I have is, do you use the same amount of coals as with foil? I know there is only one hole in the middle so was unsure as to how much heat would be needed. Thanks guys

I dont smoke too much, maybe 2 times a week. The benefits might be saving a little scratch WAYYYYY down the road, but to me it's just another thing to clean. I'm a fan of the "KISS" principal and the "work smarter, not harder" philosophy (not that I find glass screens less smart at all, for a heavier smoker, they'd be perfect). NickReppinThe909
but using the screen is working smarter because you dont have to dink around poking holes and cutting foil squares

I typically use 2x 1/3s exoticas on a med cermaic funnel when i use foil. I used the same amount on the new glass screen, but there wasnt quite the perfect heat, when i thru my windcover on, it smoked fan fucking tastic. We tried 3x 1/4s exoticas and it was perfect. So i think it might require just a little more heat than normal, but its well well well worth it.I love the glass screen, its almost as life changing as the invention of the phunnel bowl.
