Al Fakher Melon

AF Melon was VERY VERY nice.
Takes a bit more heat than many of the others, so if you are dissapointed by poor smoke density on any AF flavour, add more coals.
Good sweet cantloupe taste. Nothing artificial about it, hard to say which is better, hh melon or this. Probably this because it lasted longer, but i'm going to have to smoke the hh again, think i have a small bowls worth left.
Very smooth, no tacks really. Good smoke density. BRIGHT FRICKING RED. Even the smoke was bloody pink...no shytte.
If you like lope and can get this stuff, I highly recommend it.

Al Fakher Mellon

cut: juicy, nice

smell: smells sweet and great

smoke: nice thick sweet tasting

taste: like mellons!

overall: 10/10 This flavour is my go to flavour. im relativly new to hookah and i havn't tried so many brands or flavors but as of now this is my bread and butter. I highly reccommend you try this shisha!

Al Fakher Melon Flavour

Setup: 36" AF
Bowl: Small 25g high fired clay bowl
Hose: MYA ends, and my 3/4 OD tubing
Screen/Foil: Foil, with hundreds of needle holes
Liquid In base: 1/4 milk 2% and 3/4 water

Cut: typical AF cut mostly leaves but some stems

Smell: Unlit smells like pickeled sour melon

Taste: Flavour lasted for 45 mins.

Smoke Thickness: Very thick smoke, couldn't see the TV

Buzz: massive head ache, I smoked it too much.

Duration: 1 hour and 15 mins.

I would give this 7/10, just didn't like the melon flavorr

AF Melon

Smell: Like most sweet melon smells, mostly cantilope.

Taste: Nothing spectacular. i would like it if it were a bit sweeter.

Smoke: Typical AF, fun to play with and impressive to new people.

Buzz: little to none

Overall: I'm not a huge fan of meon shisha, I bought it on a whim. I most likely won't buy it again, but I won't mind finishing the tub at all.

Smoke 9/10 (Huge Puffy Clouds)
Flavour alright but i didnt feel it was melon like something else but not melon though 7/10
Buzz None not a thing i really wonder if they actually put real tobacco in it cause i never get a buzz from alfakher

Overall it filled the room with smoke and aroma but wasent what i expected at all for the price i payed for it

Overall: 9/10 Not a big fan on this type of melon flavor, but like the Romman this one surprised me as well. It's a good flavor taste is pretty much as close to authentic as you get.

AF Melon


Setup - 23" Nour Syrian, Razan hose, tap water, Exotica Japs, SS Hemi bowl

Appearance - typical AF

Smell - Strong melon with a slight plasticy end to it. Still very pleasant

Taste - Amazing, intense melon. Luckily it doesn't have the light plastic smell in the flavor.

Buzz - Little to none.

Smoke - Amazing clouds. On par with Fusion (which I think pumps out the best clouds)

Length - Over an hour and still going strong even from a standard bowl.

Overall - 9/10. Amazing melon. I'm keeping this around!

Al Fakher Sweet Melon (Man. Nov 2007)

Smell/Flavor: Smells like rotten fruit, not even close to a cantaloupe

Cut: The most stems I've ever seen in shisha, along with the leaves being almost pureed.

Smoke: medium

Buzz: no

Amount(approx)/Duration: 1 1/2 hours.

Hookah Type: Sryian 3 hose chiller, with 2 ports closed up, and my single port bored out to remove the autoseal bearing.

Hose: Nammor

Bowl: Tangiers Small Phunnel

Foil/Screen: Hd Ren Foil, 20 toothpick holes comprised of 2 rings with 12 on the outside, 8 on the inside

Coal/Amount: 3 coconaras in the triangle, wind cover probably about 30 minutes in

Liquid in Base: Aqua

Overall satisfaction (scale 1 to 10) 0/10. This stuff was completely bad. Had to have been a bad batch, as if this is what its supposed to be like, well AF should just close up shop. It was like rotten fruit.. Sickeningly sweet, and just.. foul.. I chucked it after 1 round of coals.

Cut/Smell: N/A, local hookah bar

Smoke: Fairly thick

Buzz: Mild

Flavor: Defiantly tasted like melon, probably one of the most accurate flavors I've had (first time with AF however)

Longevity: Flavor was strong for about an hour

I really enjoyed this smoke. It tasted more like the real thing than flavored tobacco. This has turned me on to AF

Cut: a little on the dryer side for AF

Smell: a bit like melon... not too overpowering

Smoke: couldnt get it thick

Flavour: packed the bowl twice and couldn't get it not to burn

Duration: 30 minutes from the two bowls

Rating: 4/10, I don't know what went wrong but the 2 times we tried to get this flavor going it just wouldn't... i will try it again another time and re post if the outcome is different

[b]Overall: [/b]10/10 All I can say is WOW! I finally found another one of Al Fakher's Great Ones. The only thing I have had that would beat this is Nakhla Sweet Melon. The smell is aromatically superb. The flavor is amazing. I not a big cantaloupe fan in the terms of smoke. But this will be something I grab from time to time because it's that good.

Overall: 5/10. This shisha smells sooooo good and i want so much to like it a lot more than I do, but I find that the flavor is just to weak to give it high ratings. Upon smoking it tastes sweet, but you have to look too hard for the melon. And it leaves your fingers pink for a day after handling it.

Al Fakher Melon

standard set up nothing fancy
standard bowl single QL coal and Makeshift windcover(made out of an AMP energy drink can)

Cut: Decent cut few stems, some big leaves that needed to be chopped more
Smoke: Good clouds not the biggest ive had but pretty decent
Smell: Pleasant light melon smell, kinda like fresh cantalopes in harvest season
Taste: Same nice pleasant light melon flavor, not overpowering
Duration: Smoked about 45 minutes on one coal, could have gone longer with more coals im sure

Overall: 8/10 not a bad smoke, decent taste and smoke, it did have an issue getting harsh quickly but a little heat management helped that out. i think overall id recomend this to others. Think i might try mixing in a little mint into the mix...
