My New Km Halzone (And The Rest Of The Order)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,
Just got my second KM, it's a Halzone with a large round vase from HookahJohn.
Fitment was great after i trimmed the base grommet a bit (maybe too much, some might argue...getting a little leaking from the base now), and the finish is flawless.
Got it loaded up after taking these pictures, and it smokes like a dream. I forgot to order a diffuser for it so it's a little loud and the pull is sort of rough, but i'll either do the drinking straw thing or just get another diffuser.

I also got pictures of all my shisha - mostly Tangiers, Starbuzz, and Al Fakher, with a few Havana, Romman, and Rosetta leftovers.

Here's what was in the new order :
-KM Halzone with Narbish V4 washable hose
-108ct. Coco flats
-HJ CH QLs
-Royal Blue small Phunnel
-250g Starbuzz Pirate's Cave (Fantastic flavor...sort of like lime sherbet or green skittles)
-250g Starbuzz Wild Mint
-250g Starbuzz Tangerine Dream (AMAZING!)

Let me know what you think!

As usual amazing photography and another perfect addition. You already have quite a collection and a wonderful way of capturing it. Hoping to see more photos down the line, maybe some action shots? The Halzone is one of the few pipes I am in love with, glad to see someone with impeccable taste. What do you think of the Pirate's Cove?

Thanks man!! I love quality gear, and we'll definitely get some pictures of everything in use :)
The Pirate's Cave is fabulous - great clouds and minimal heat management needed, on a small Phunnel i'll use between 2.5 and 3 cocos, and it burns perfectly the whole time. The flavor is unlike any other shisha i've tried, and it's really strong thoughout the whole session.

I forgot one pic of the vase, here it is!

me like everyone else, great pics, i need to learn how to do that, mine are lacking in quality, could be the cheapo cam i use. what are you using to get such great shots?

Check his other thread here, post #18: http://www.hookahforum.com/topic/40316-new-to-the-forum-here-are-my-hookahs/

Such beautiful photography... Probably best quality hookah pictures I've ever seen.

Thanks :) I'm using a Canon T2i with a Canon 50mm f/1.4 prime lens - that's how i get such shallow DoF and the blurry backgrounds. The quality of this lens is superb, so the bokeh looks really smooth and round (bokeh is the term for out-of-focus background).
All the shots were handheld, no tripod, so they're not nearly as sharp as they could have been. I had the camera set to about 1/50 and 1/60 for the shutter speed, ISO 800, and f/1.4 for the aperture.

Thanks everyone else for the great compliments!! I will post up some of the pics in wallpaper sizes

I think it might also be called "Zoharia", DirtCheapHookahs and Hookah-Shisha are both calling it now...unless it's different but looks identical :-P

Basha is the name it's most commonly known by. When KMs are imported, they're not named. It's the vendors who end up naming them. Usually it's called that one name by all of the vendors, but some choose to name it something else.
