Where Should I Buy A Phunnel Bowl From? And....

do I need this mod you guys talk about all the time? If so where do I get that thx..............

Not necessarily. If its Tangiers then definitely no.

Otherwise its a matter of preference. Others have explained how they work better than I can but briefly the scalli mod fits over the central hole. It would block it if it wasn't for three areas where the mod flares up to allow air through.

The air you pull from the bowl has to move under the three raised points of the scalli mod into the central hole of the phunnel. The circulation of air through the ma'assell as the bowl cooks is regarded as helpful for certain brands. I like them when I smoke Al-Fakher, Fantasia or Starbuzz in my phunnels. They're not always easy to clean though. The scalli mod can be found at MNHookah.com.

I personally enjoy the mod sometimes its good to have around but regardless I think you should order from Mnhookahs.com and they do have the mod as well and a good deal on AF tobacco

I just out mine in a small saucepot and boil it with water with a bit of powdered dishwasher detergent, all the stuff unsticks pretty easy

If you want to spend a bit more (or a lot more) you can go over to MNH. They have the same ones as HC (not full stock on colors right now) but they also sell glass funnels. You can get a generic glass or you can get a jet funnel which are beautiful, can be customized, apparently smoke wonderfully and only cost a small fraction of your soul.

Exactly. If they took all of it they would lose you as a customer.

I am kidding though. 50 buck is pricy but not too extremem for a really nice, custom piece of glass work. And one you can smoke through.
