  1. My friends and I have been planning on making a rose explosion so to speak. Rose shisha with some rose water in the base and topped of by drinking the rose mead I brewed... It might be a little much but it's worth the story if nothing else.
  2. DO NOT USE HOT WATER. It will loosen and hurt the glue that hold the hose together. Water and lemon juice will help cut the taste. After that it's just a matter of smoking it out. I wash whenever I feel I can taste an old flavor for more than the first few pulls of the current bowl.
  3. Because of the way shisha is made it's hard to tell the strain of leaf anyways without asking the makers. My guess would be a light Connecticut. Not a double claro. Possibly a shade. I will not rule out Virginian tobacco like virginia gold though.
  4. I've made this mix with different brands. It's good. Nothing to start a company over. I am a fan of florals. Jasmine is one of my favorites. Rose is awesome if you get a good one. AF Golden rose is a great rose flavor.
  5. GOd damn. If I still had my old job I would jump on this...
  6. The "plastic" is probably just some glue drips that were inside your hose and got loosened by the smoke and moisture.
  7. People will tell you that you don't have to but lucid can benefit from some acclimation as well.
  8. I have only had a product issue with them and it was remedied quickly. Actually I had one shipping issue and it too was taken care of after one conversation. I am going to be placing a tangiers order from h-s really soon (people need to buy in) h-s does not have a lot of the flavors I want in stock or at all. I wanted to grab some orange soda, melon blend and cocoa. they have the cocoa. I think my new order is going to be Classic cocoa (already had lucid), Peach iced tea and lucid watermelon. How does that sound? I have never dealt with the classic and smoking it right so to speak so I was looking for blends that were good for beginners.
  9. While my experiences are limited I will give my current favorites. Romman peach Romman nectarine both pricey but really nice when I want to spend a little extra. Nakhla Margarita Fantasia maragrita is really good too but for value nakhla wins hands down. Tangiers cocoa (even though the flavor is a bit weak) Layalina jasmine.
  10. QUOTE (OC4111 @ Jul 8 2008, 01:07 PM) QUOTE (Kalutika @ Jul 8 2008, 12:37 PM) Like codename says Hookah Company has them and the small in good colors. That is where I got mine. If you want to spend a bit more (or a lot more) you can go over to MNH. They have the same ones as HC (not full stock on colors right now) but they also sell glass funnels. You can get a generic glass or you can get a jet funnel which are beautiful, can be customized, apparently smoke wonderfully and only cost a small fraction of your soul. I have plenty of soul left. lol Exactly. If they took all of it they would lose you as a customer. I am kidding though. 50 buck is pricy but not too extremem for a really nice, custom piece of glass work. And one you can smoke through.

  12. That's awesome. I have been thinking about trying those coconut coals for a long time but never wanted to take the risk so to speak. Low budget and all. this really encourages me to try them out and will save me more money than trying out coconara or exotica. Still have not tried either.
  13. It sounds to me like you are getting kicked in the teeth by nicotine. If I do not pac myself I get exactly the same effects. It's your heart rate and blood pressure spiking. Just pace yourself and accept that you are probably a little more sensitive to nicotine than you would like.
