pinky
Do you use them for Tangiers? How many do you use on the Phunnel. I have a small Phunnel and would give em a try. In Germany they are not so expensive as in the US. In some shops they are cheaper than 3K coals.

Snoopy1966
I just got some of these Belgium Coals today. So far I am not to impressed. They impart a taste and one does not seem to be enough for my little MNH Jet glass Funnel. I split it in half and placed on opposite sides of the bowl. It was going good for a bout 20 minutes, and it has been about 45 minutes now and I am lighting some coconaras to see what I get. I am smoking Tangiers Nectarine.Much better smoke and taste with the coconaras, anyone want 99 of these??I have a box of Canaries and Quick Light Japanese coals also if anyone wants also. The quicklites or the natural disks? black packaging or green? It is the green packaging. I guess I am so used to coconaras now. They are not bad coals at all, much better then exoticas for sure (that is the Belgium coals.) I made sure they were nice and ashed over before I used them. I must say they have perfect heat for Tangiers though. I got a decent session with the one coal I tried. I guess I am a KM, Tangiers, and Coconara Fan Boy as some here like to label us. Everyone is a Fan Boy or Girl of their tobacco, coal and Hookah of their choice. This Fan Boy stuff needs to stop!! lolI decided to put them up for sale because I just won't use them so much and I do not want to throw away and more coals, except for the Exoticas I have that are no good. I would not give them away!
shisha fan
weird, i love the belgium coals. they`re my favorite coals after the cococha coconut coals. i can get them for only 6 euros a box around here (probably because belgium is neighbour country, so the export costs aren`t that high). They burn foreverI have never given up my 3 Kings because the naturals I've tried have always taken so long to light (with not all that much improvement in flavor that I could tell) that I couldn't justify the inconvenience - especially living in Southern California where it gets hot and I don't want a burner going on the stove to light them. Plus how perfectly they fit onto a round bowl. But a flat disk natural that's round? I might just have to try these!'Rani

Balthazar
Aha. Agreed, awesome coals. Almost no ashing, and perfect temperature. With my old stove they can be a real pain to light, but a propane torch does the job.
