Bushbr Posted October 24, 2007 Share Posted October 24, 2007 I was smoking my Pharoah last night, and with the cobra hoses, it was really pissing me off that i couldn't hold it by the nice fluffy handle, because i had to thumb the tip, because Egyptians hookahs don't have auto-seal. I ended up just lipping my hose all night rather than thumbing it, but i was wondering, could i possibly buy big enough ball bearings, and just plop them into the stem part thingy, or are there little caps or something i could put on the end of my hose? RayVer Posted October 24, 2007 Share Posted October 24, 2007 Mya autoseal valves have a ball bearing in them and a screw in the valve that stops the ball from going further (in to the hose). You can remove the screw to replace (or remove) the ball.If dropping the ball alone won't work then if your good with tools drill a small hole in the valve after where the ball sits and put a small screw. make sure you do it right if not it won't have a good seal. make sure you leave enough space between the bottom and the screw so that the ball has room to move up when you suck in.
