I know that a lot of people are saying the whole setup is ruined, but I'm not sure that's the case... wait, what's that formula again? Oh yeah: NHT + Hookah = your life is ruined. Yup, your life is over... cops are on their way to your house to destroy the hookah (in front of you) and then destroy you. Then they're going to sit there and smoke Hookah-Hookah out of your skull. Sorry brah....

'Rani [/quote] on that same idea though, because tangiers is so wet it weighs more than a less wet brand like nakhla. if you packed nakhla the same way as tangiers you would get more bowls out of it because more tobacco is there edit: i dont smoke tang, so im not sure how dense you have to pack it. but i routinely get 3-4 hours off of a med phunnel with nakhla in it..and probably get 7-8 bowls out of a 250g of nakhla (though its hard to tell because i like to mix flavors) [/quote] Wetter, maybe, but the tobacco aspect of tangiers is significantly less dense than other brands making 250g seem like much more than say, 250g of nakhla...

I've done this before, usually takes about two or three days before I'm no longer a raging dick, then things are just normal again. I'm actually taking a bit of a break now too as smoking tangiers with well water in a cabin in the middle-of-nowhere PA was not working nearly as well as I'd hoped it would...

[/quote] Yup, this is precisely why Eric won't mass-produce minis. My friend actually converted an incense burner to a massive (we're talking 150-175g) bowl using a drill. I have yet to see/try it, but he claims it works and I'm hopefully going to be trying it out tonight.

First tobacco ever? Can't remember. First tub I ever had when I got my first hookah: AF Grape. I still smoke it from time to time.

I've had them. You have to leave them on the stove for a very long time. Try 15 minutes. I actually like them better than cocos less hot, less expensive although they take forever to light. You really got to leaev them on for a while otherwise they're going to go out... 400! Also, you may want to try drying them out in the oven or something if you think they may have picked up some moisture...

He was dropping off samples and said that the strawberry wasn't received well and that someone at the company thought it was too much like el basha. He had only 50g packages and said he wasn't sure if they'd continue it or not. It would be a shame, it was really good! Tart and real strawberry flavored. I told him about hookah forum and how people in the US wanted it and he got a kick out of that. I don't know about Cairo, but in Dubai they seem to sell more Nakhla than any of the Dubai brands, which I thought was kind of strange. AF needs to return the favor, which I am sure they will soon;) and secondly, I wish we had nakhla reps visiting us and handing out samples. it's not usual for a well selling brand to give out samples, although karabetian comped me a mizo orange which i was really thankful for. Free Samples are really common here, the 50g boxes are given away like candy. I've never gotten an AF free sample. They also hand out free egyptian bowls and foil and tips. If you can give your stuff away, that says quite a lot compared to the stores around here charging 20 dollars for 250g of old dry Nakhla...

I got one with a smaller opening than the last two I had and it had no effect on the smokability whatsoever.

I don't know what their deal is! There was a "rep" at the shisha store that told me some Mizo flavors are being tested and evaluated before they are out on the mainstream. I don't know about all that, but at the time, you can only buy Mizo Strawberry in 50g boxes and it is extremely limited. IT IS SOOOO GOOD THOUGH, most natural strawberry (not candylike) I've smoked.
