Tagiers Bacon (Noir)

 

Tastes like what I imagine a McRib would taste like. Overpowering smokey, charred bbq sauce flavoring with heavy meat undertones. Makes me feel ill just thinking about it. Pretty much what I expected. You might enjoy it if you enjoy getting rib sandwiches from AM/PM or if the thought of inhaling meat sounds appetizing. I Still don't know what you guys were thinking when you asked for this. Two hitter quitter for sure.

Hookah: Al Nawras Wooden/Brass Syrian on Group Elegance Red Genie Base.
Bowl: Tangiers Mini Phunnel.
Screen/Foil: Reynolds Heavy Duty.
Hose: Red FancyHose.
Coals: Two Coconaras.
Base Liquid: Water.
Appearance: Typical Tangiers cut.
Smell: Smells like smokey meat... VERY strong. I could hardly acclimate this stuff without making my wife and friends gag!
Taste: A lot better than it smells, fortunately. It's like inhaling smoked meat. Not even really bacon.
Smoke: Tang clouds- huge.
Buzz: Decent.
Duration: ~1 Hours.

Overall: 5/10. This is a really strange one for me. The smell of it makes me want to gag, but the taste of it is not exactly bad. Just weird. For me the taste wasn't even really bacon, just a smoked meat flavor. If it tasted a bit more like bacon or perhaps beef jerky, I think I'd like it a lot more. Smoked it for about an hour then gave up and swapped to another flavor. I'll try to smoke it again and perhaps amend this review if I have any additional thoughts. For right now, though, this is pretty much just one of those novelty hookah tobacco flavors to impress your friends with, not a flavor to smoke regularly.

Bowl: tangiers small

Screen/Foil: Reynolds HD

Hose: fancy hose

Coals: 3 ch halves

Base Liquid: Water

Appearance: typical noir.

Nicotine: unsure%

Smell: like fatty ham.

Taste: like fatty bacon, smoky and well it's pretty gross. I don't like this at all.

Smoke: Usual Tangiers Clouds Buzz: Same as noir.

Longevity: I could only smoke this for 15 minutes

Overall: 3/10 it tastes like bacon. It's spot on flavor wise if you can imagine a bacon flavored smoke. As far as the tobacco it smokes like tangiers. The reason I rate this so low is it made me feel nauseous. It tastes smoky and fatty like bacon just fried in a pan. I don't think we were meant to smoke bacon sadly. It's a yummy food but disgusting smoke. Sorry Eric, it's a neat flavor you created here but it's a swing and a miss for me as far as enjoying it goes.
