Coals: Two chunks of Al Fakher Charcoals about the size of a nickle each but more like spheres
Foil/Screen: Glass
Water: Regular Tap, Ice Bucket
Nammor Hose

Cut: Typical AF cut, wet and sticky.

Smell: Like sweet pomegranates

Taste: Strong Pomegranate flavor

Smoke: Very thick and smooth smoke. Huge clouds.

Buzz: Decent, typical fakher, wasn't smoking too hard though

Longevity: 1 Hour +

Rating: 10/10. Awesome. Tastes better than most pomegranate juice on the market.

Bowl: Large Meduse Bowl

Water: water + ice cubes

Cut: Normal AF cut, found a giant stem though.

Smell: I couldn't pin point the smell but it was pleasant, subtle and fruity.

Taste: The taste is was not so impressive for me, it tasted like I was smoking soil.

Smoke: Thick, as you expect from AF.

Buzz: Slight buzz.

Longevity: Smoked for about 40 minutes.

It smelt nice and smoked well, I just don't like the flavour. I think I might try again and give it a second chance soon.

Water: water, Diffuser

Cut: Typical AF cut, wet and sticky.

Smell: Smelled sweet and fruity

Taste: sweet after taste but a nice mouth full of diluted pom

Smoke: Very thick and smooth smoke. Huge clouds.

Buzz: no buzz at all

Longevity: 2 Hour +

Rating: I would give it 10/10. This was amazing. The flavor lasted from start to finish. I love pom and now i have a smoke to go with it. This is one flavor I will always go back to. Edited August 11, 2008 by olooko

AF GRENADINE

Setup: MYA QT, MYA bowl, 2 3KQL’s, Water base

Appearance: Deep red goo, very, very juicy

Smell: Pomegranate alright

Smoke: Nice and thick after the second hit

Flavor: Mission accomplished. The taste is dead on and lasts throughout the sessiom

Buzz: Yeah, it has a slight kick to it

Duration: Hour and a half+ This is unusual for me, most of the time I’m ready to stop after an hour, but this was so good I didn’t want it to end

Overall: Good stuff. I don’t have much experience with AF, although I’ve liked what I’ve had so far. I also haven’t had much love for red-berry type flavors. Here’s a winner which will be in my regular rotation. 9/10

Hose: Synthetic Leather
Coals: Starlight QLs
Base: Water

Appearence: Standard Al Fakher cut.
Smell: Pomegranates and a hint of cough syrup.
Taste: Slightly medicinal, but definitely pomegranate. The folks I smoke with love this flavor; this definitely isn't my favorite Al Fakher, but it isn't bad either.
Smoke: Nice, thick clouds. Great for smoke rings, actually.
Buzz: Moderate. Nice and relaxing.

Overall: A pretty good flavor, but not my favorite by any means. If you absolutely must have pomegranate, though, this isn't a bad choice. On a 1-10 scale, I'd rate this at about a 7/10.

Al Fakher Grenadine

Set up : Mya QT, Razan, Medium Phunnel (3 cocos on top)

Smell : Well I don't really know how to describe this in full. Doesn't smell as sweet as I would like. It smells more like pure tobacco than anything.

Taste : Didn't like it. It doesn't taste sweet at all (although there is a hint of sweetness). The best thing I could describe of the taste is that it tasted like cigarette smoke.

Duration : Currently smoking for about 45 minutes now. Can go longer, although using a phunnel definitely increases the flavor span of this.

Buzz : Decent buzz for any AF tobacco.

Overall : Well, I am disappointed with this. Was hoping for a rich, sweet flavor of pomegranates (or at least of how those grenadine syrup used to taste like). Instead, I got cigarette flavor. Wouldn't be buying this flavor again. 3/10

Note : Automatic 3 on the rating just because it smoked well.

Coals: Exotica easy lite cubes

Screen/Foil: Jula Nar Hookah Foil

Liquid In base: water

Cut: Medium, few stems

Smell: Sweet interesting smell, made me anxious to try it

Taste: This is one of my favorites... Taste is hard to explain, it is sweet, not real fruity... interesting

Smoke Thickness: Smoke was good... maybe a little less than the Grape/Mint i tried earlier, but still pretty good.

Buzz: Slight

Duration: Two hours.

Overall: 9/10 - One of my favorites, and both friends I had over also loved it. I'll be hitting this one often and is a sure hit when friends are over... I can't imagine someone not liking this flavor

AF Grenadine.

Smokes just like all other AF flavors in terms of heat management and smoke density.

The flavor however is a little weird. Doesnt taste like what it smells or what you would think it should taste like.


6/10 gave it a six because it does have flavor.... just not a very good one.

[b]Overall: [/b]10/10 Woah now this is a potent flavor. The smell is super strong, the flavor is just as strong. This tastes just like grenadine syrup. This is a bit strong for most of the time. This could be a superb mixer. Not for everyone, it's a bit much in the sweet department. But it's still a great flavor.
