Tangiers Spearmint

Got some new flavor samples so I'm reviewing as I smoke'em.

Setup: Tall rotator/ small phunnel bowl filled to top/ foil with lots of holes/ 3 1" rounds cut from diamante finger coals. Session length: Still smoking good after 2 hours.

Smell: Spearmint candy

Cut: Standard tangiers cut, juicy

Smoke: Thick clounds

Flavor: Cool spearmint flavor like a hard candy. Not as intense as peppermint. After a couple sets of coals, the flavor fades somewhat but the coolness of the spearmint is still there in the mouth and throat. Nice. Once the bowl is up to temperature, I'd suggest cutting way back on the heat. You lose some density in the smoke but the flavor holds up much better over the entire session

Spearmint

One word DAM, It tastes like sweet, but slightly tart (Must be due to my pipe, I always smoke fruit flavors with it). I like the stuff, and it does carry the tangier Buzz.

Now the set up

22" junior Egyptian hookah - defuse, with MYA hose.
Wide, but shallow high fired bowl.
Half a finger coal (Dynamite)
1/4 Akaka coal.
cut like Tangiers, bit rough.
the smoke start weak, but 5 mins in big cloulds

Overall: 9/10 This is a great spearmint, not as strong as the smell. This is great flavor, despite the fact that it's not super strong it's a great!
