SaintPendulous Posted June 7, 2011 Share Posted June 7, 2011 So i don't see TOO Much of it on the news but it sounds like here in Council Bluffs were gonna get fucked kinda bad, on Broadway which is a main street, on the 15th is projected to have 10 feet of STANDING water.... Ive got friends and family members packing their stuff because basements are already starting to leak and it hasn't even crested yet, Ive got friends who live in a suburb down here and the government told them "Get all your belongings out of the basement because were predicting up to 2 feet of raw sewage coming up through your floors *FEMA is getting involved * Pottawatomie County *county im in* Has already been declared a disaster area by the government and we havent got the full effect yet *Its supposed to hit the Power and Water plant possibly knocking out power to a couple districts if not the whole city if its bad enough, as well as running water..... *Insurance IS NOT covering it because its a "Man Made Flood" North and South Dakota got a shit load of snow and it all melted, their flooded now and they couldn't hold the water....so they sent it down river....and you know what they say "Shit Floats down stream" * Their Calling it a 100 year flood.....which blows Anybody else going to be affected by this??
