Scheetz Posted July 24, 2006 Share Posted July 24, 2006 um, after I saw war of the worlds and she kept screaming her head off and gave me headache, i will never see a movie with her in it again. and thats disgusting if a 12 yearold is raped in a movie and is shown in her underwear and what a bra for those non existant breastsessess. honestly, this is what I have to say about hollywood. SpaceOddity Posted August 26, 2006 Share Posted August 26, 2006 It really depends on how they depict it. If it seems like they are going for shock-value, it really would be innappropriate. If they are really trying to portray the horrors of rape and child abuse then I don't disagree with it. I havn't seen War of the Worlds but every movie I see Dakota Fanning in, she always seems so grown up and mature. I think she'll be able to handle the part well. I am not one for censorship but sometimes tact is far more important than one's personal right to do what they want with whatever media they want.
