Nah.  Just the flavor.  Make sure you keep your shisha sealed TIGHTLY or the smell will start to move into the air of the house.  I had this happen to a sample which was just in a ziplock.  It was horrible.I smoke in the house a couple times a week, and there is no change in smell.

[quote name='mserr']ok, thanks. I have parents that would flip at the smell of tobacco.[/quote] Hookah tobacco/smoke smells nothing like tobacco unless its zagoule(sp). Zag is a non flavored tobacco. Since the massell is flavored and isnt supposed to burn it smell like the shisha itself.
In my expierences, cappachino, mint, etc.(strong smelling flavors) seem to last longer then anything. But thats only like 5-7 hours. even then its not strong, just a light hint.

just have proper ventilation, like having your windows open and it will be fine

A note on ventilation:If you have a lot of wind, consider getting a wind cover for your coals.  The extra air movement will cause them to burn faster.  Not necessarily a good thing.

agreed.i smoke once in my room at night, usually once a night.  its roughly the size of a 2car garage so you can get a comparison of sizeusually i'll be smoking with a bunch of friends, so it'll help make the smell better when you've got like 10 guys chillin in a room
