The wooden stem looks like a table leg, and the inner metal stem corroded away after a little over a year. It broke just above the heart, and toppled over mid-smoke. I also thought it was just a little too tall, the bowl was higher than my head when on my kitchen counter. After it broke, I replaced it with a mya. There are so many more choices... of better quality...For $120, you can get a top-of-the-line Egyptian or Syrian... that will last you a lifetime with proper care...
