My deepest sympathy to you and yours. The last two years have been rough for me as well. Lost my grandpa two years ago, and my grandma last year. I am glad that you have found solace in remembering the good times. The bowl tonight will not only be dedicated to your grandfather, but to you and your family, as well as anyone who has lost someone close recently.

While I absoulutely detest institutionalized religion, I have these thoughts: 1. Everyone should be able to believe what they want to believe, until it infringes on anyone's right to pursue happiness. 2. The Church, Catholic or otherwise, is the most corrupt thing ever. When you have the heads of your supposed religion (Yes, popes) being 11 years old, or calling for little boys to be sent to them, the line needs to be drawn. You shouldn't have to speak to an "ordained" hierarchal figure to be close to the diety of your choice. Also, if one chooses to attend church, they shouldn't be thrown out or dropped from the member list due to the fact of not paying the upped price. 3. The Old Testament, specifically Exodus, has a slave law established in it. Why would a people who are fleeing slavery implement a slave code on thier own people? 4. The Bible, ie the New Testament, was formed in the presence of Emperor Constantine around 300 ad. Why should an emporer have any say what gospels make it and what don't. St. Augustine was a non-Christian, had an illigitimate child, sent his wife back to Africa, and finally created predestination to suit himself. New Christianity is far too self righteous, and in my opinion, lost its roots. 5. Paul, arguably the earliest writer of Jesus, was once a Jew named Sol, who persecuted Christians. Paul wrote about Jesus 50 some odd years after Jesus died. This could arguably be oral tradition-meaning, I have trouble following anything he has to say. 6. Before anyone believes anything anyone says on religion, perhaps they should analize for themselves. Islam, or more specifically, the Koran, was fought for, and is arguably based around women (the struggle between Ayisha and Muhammad Ali-leading to Sunnis and Shi-ites) Women are now very persecuted by radical Islamic factions. Also, in the Koran, specifically in the Cow, it says that one is allowed to defend oneself if challenged, however, one may not start the fight. Jihad is seen as spiritual perfection, not necessarily war. I have a HUGE problem with institutionalized religion, even down to the Bible. Do I believe in a god? Yes. It is the same god that Jews, Christians, and Muslims believe in. All accept the idea of Genesis, and see this god as the true god, which is why the Koran states that Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are accepted religions and not thought to be infidels. The infidels in the pure sense were pagans. I dislike that people interpret religion to suit their life and to find their way out-basically to seek peace of mind. I find the human race as a whole to be far too arrogant, and see this as the plague of religious, theistic, (or whatever you wish to call it) thought. Emperors, and people in power for that matter, should have no say in a person's view on religion. In my opinion, it shouldn't be group based, it should be faith from within. Religion shouldn't necessarily be going to church and doing what your pastor, father, priest, or whatever tells you to do. Any religion has ideas to live by. What happened to being a good person for the sake of being a good person?

My heart goes out to you and your family! They are definately in my prayers... There is literally nothing worse than seeing a premie who had to fight so much harder anyway have trouble. My girlfriend's twin sisters were VERY premature and barely made it. I wish you all only my best.

Who Here Works Out, Or Is Into Personal Fitness?

I lift my ass off every day, try to stay below 8-9% body fat, bench double my bw for a couple, smoke atleast 1 cigar a day, and usually have a hookah session 2-3 times a week... As for endurance, I run 15-20 mins pretty hard no problem. 40-45 min cardio sessions aren't out of the question. If you do things to offset the smoking, eat decently clean, and drink a lot of water, you'll be fine... If you eat like crap, sit on your ass and drink pop all day, you'll have trouble. -
the 2JZGTE and the RB26DETT are the KINGS of japan... sooo much potential... the 2JZ has stock internals strong enough to carry close to 700hp without any problems now THAT'S engineering Actually, 2JZ's have dyno'd 980 to the wheels with a stock bottom end-very impressive engine. The 2JZ and RB26 are probably the two greatest mass produced engines ever-from an engineering standpoint atleast.

Ummmm... Porsche just recently aquired VAG- which means the new lambos will be porsches instead of audi's... I don't see the difference in buying a Lambo or a Porsche- You may be buying the Lambo with the Italian name, but aren't the sales still going to a GERMAN company??? No offense intended, as I will probably never have the blessings to be in the financial position to purchase either of these, but the logic is flawed a little. By the way, I drive a 95 Jetta 2.0 that is lowered... It is reliable for now, but who knows how much longer it will last. The next car is going to be an SN-95 Mustang... Then the fun starts!

For a lighter bodied smoke, I really enjoyed the Gurkha symphony, as well as the Rocky Patel 1999 vintage, and the plain old Patel Connecticut. I really haven't gotten into the fuller bodied smokes, as I am kinda on a Connecticut kick.

The "argument" of probability of intelligent life forming on its own versus the probability of there being a god isn't a true argument, due, infact to "probability", is somewhat weak. I do not believe in organized religion, but do believe in a god. The funny thing about statistics is that they can be manipulated to say what one wishes. Probability is a statistic. Seeing as we haven't mapped the universe, we can't estimate a probability of other intelligent life. Not to say there isn't any, but we sure as hell haven't concretely discovered it. Why is the idea of intelligent design that hard to believe. If our beginning supposedly came out of the "primoidial soup" theory, why can't the results be replicated? Many scientists have tried, yet to no avail. It is simple chemistry right? One would think that if all of the molecules were there, with a (lucky) streak of lightning, the most basic of amino acids would form, right? Wrong. It has been tried many, many times, and nothing has happened. Further, the fossil record works to prove some sort of intelligent design. The theory of puctuated equilibrium is laughable. Why are there very similar fossils, skeletons, et cetera, of one species, than out of no where, a completely new species? Point mutations don't work this way. Point mutations don't build up to form a new species all of a sudden; there should be an eventual and logical, progressive new species, not huge jumps, as demonstrated by the fossil record. Furtheremore, to think that we evolved from the most simple of anaerobic, prokaryotic bacteria is also laughable. The thing I don't get is the intellgent design advocates not necessarily believing in a god. Wouldn't their designer be seen as some type of diety? Just a thought... I believe in Jesus. Not necessarily man's Jesus, but Jesus nonetheless.

QUOTE If it's comparapble to Layalina, why not go with layalina, considering it is usually around $9? Smiley's still wins on uniqueness of flavors over Layalina though. Smiley's stuff puts out MASSIVE clouds, is sooooo maintenance free to smoke, lasts for frickin ever, and has more unique flavor. The mouth feel of the smoke is amazing also... Layalina is good, they are the best watermelon imho, but I haven't had a smiley watermelon With layalina I get decent clouds, def. plenty enough to do rings etc, but smiley's is a whole nother animal in my experiences...

Havana Mango: Set up: 28" Sahara Smoke purchased from local hookah bar, tangier's medium phunnel, glass scalli mod, 72" Mya washable, 2 3k's, cold water in base Shisha: Looks very fine, kinda sticky, not wet like layalina, but not dry like nakhla-somewhere in between Smell: Smelled amazing, very mango Taste: Pretty good taste. I had a little too much heat at the beginning, but when I got it right, it was very good. Kinda a candy mango, but solid Smoke quality/mouth feel: The smoke was pretty thick. Not smiley's thick, but pretty good. On par with Layalina. Buzz: Don't recall if washed or not, but a pretty solid buzz. Faded quick, but nice. Overall: Probably the best mango I've tried to date. Most I've tried don't taste like mango, or much of anything. The flavor wasn't like "POW!!!" but it wasn't a stretch either. I was impressed, as this was my first Havana experience. I would give it a solid 8.5

While yes, it is a forum, people said exactly what I did. There was an explanation that said "concentric" in it. Please read before asking redundant questions.

Seriously dude, not to sound like a dick, but look up the word concentric on line. This has been asked a couple of times, and really should be common sense... Just do like 1-2 more circles inside the one drawn up, and voila!
