    Calculus

Calculus had to be the official math of the Nazi party. I can't stand it. I'm taking brief calculus right now as one of those requirements that I happened put off until just before I graduate. It just doesn't click with me, and I don't find it useful. Our text is tailored toward business majors, and uses scenarios with limits and derivatives to find some particular end figure. I'll use statistics or my accounting spreadsheets, thank you very much.
  2. Natural born = no epidural during labor. Glad I could straighten things out here.
  3. Mushy, That's a Weber Progressive carb. I had one on my 64 bug. Better than the stock carb, but it had some throttle lag. That rail really needs Weber 40 or 44 IDFs to fly. A progressive is good if you ever want to fab out a turbo kit, though. The tee-pee exhaust makes it even easier.
  4. Bribe the cop with the broken 360?
  5. Mostly French and Scottish. So... I'm easily angered and enjoy bread and wine.
  6. Both? Just like most things, you can debate whether or not it's art. But it's certainly fucking cruel. God I hate people. Idiot was probably doing it mostly for the press. Starving a dog to bring attention to starving dogs is like raping an infant to bring attention to the raping of infants. Maybe he should kill himself to bring attention the the suicide epidemic?
  7. QUOTE (dude3516 @ Feb 1 2008, 11:26 PM) jagermeister is Gods gift to man, you take that back Texico.....you take that back! I thought so. Then I got really drunk of Jager. I lost my religion pretty quick.
  8. They were nice enough to protest at the funeral of a friend I went to school with who lost to an IED in Iraq (RIP Clint ). It's just a way for people with no conscience to make money. Read the Fred Phelps Wikipedia page if your stomach can handle it.
  9. There's a 1-800-FLOWERS call center near here. Every time I drive by, I imagine how I would handle working there. Choppy Engrish would be high on my list of ways to stay sane. *ring ring* "One eighthunded frowers, how today I can halp you?" "*sigh* What country are you in?" "Okrahoma!"
  10. Follow her to England. Watch her for a few weeks, take pictures, rummage through her trash. Once she finds out you've been stalking her, she'll instantly fall in love with you! Don't worry about her. As people already said, somebody who just drops everything without an explanation isn't worth your time.
  11. I want to play! I've got a 76 chrome yellow VW Westfalia bus. I'd take a pic for the VW fans, but it's kinda cold outside. Maybe later.
  12. $$$$$$ That's why they waste their time. It's not like Kendra would be busy curing cancer if she weren't sleeping with a creepy old man.
  13. QUOTE (SmokingDjinn @ Dec 6 2007, 04:07 AM) I had to hear it from the mouth of a marine who has been there to hear of the progress we are making. That really depends on who you talk to, where they were, and what they were doing. I can think of six military people I know who served (or are serving) in Iraq, and I have six different answers about whether we're making progress. That would be seven answers, but the one I went to school with is dead.
  14. QUOTE (lemmiwinks @ Dec 12 2007, 09:10 PM) I think it's fun to fuck with them, I had an email correspondence with one of them one time with the "I'll send you an extremely overvalued cashier's check for your item and you send me change." I think it ended with me offering to trade for a dozen bananas and his first born or something like that. I would get scam emails everyday for a while. It was so much fun. They don't even flinch when you write back in their own fubar'd english and try to bargain with goats and virgins. Some of the replies I would get back were internet gold.
  15. I've never had the pleasure of dealing with customs, but can't you usually bypass the tobacco tax by labeling the package as gift? It seems like there was some discussion about this on here a year or so ago. This whole post is very sad in a watching my fellow smokers suffer kind of way.
