The ice chambers on real Kms are not water-tight. I have heard alot about people having to seal them up with caulk or sealant. And if its from hookah-shisha.com its legit.

I dont have experience with those particular flavors but, usually when it smells like something other then BBQ sauce/molasses it should be done or almost done acclimating. The only way to tell for sure is to smoke it

Based on the tray designs I would say they are MZs. They are the only egyptian company that does the trays like that as far as I know

If you are smoking AF then there is really no wrong way to pack it. The only thing is that you need to make sure to get enough in the bowl. I have never been able to overpack AF in the phunnel. If you pack it up to the rim, filled really well, you should get huge clouds and about 3 and a half hours out of the bowl. As for the mod, I have never used one or felt it necessary. And to TwoApples, im sorry to tell you but the phunnel is far superior to the standard Egyptian bowl in many ways.

What I have heard and observed myself, is that the icewater causes the smoke to be thicker because the glycerin is more condensed. However, I have noticed that the smoke is thicker but the volume of smoke stays the same

I use these as my primary coal and couldn't be happier. No taste, easy lighting and low heat all make for a perfect tangiers coal. These can be a pain for nakala but with a windcover they still do the trick
