We've seen some inexpensive hookahs on ebay in the 15-40 dollar range, and we're wondering if these are going to be decent. We don't need anything fancy, just a hookah that works well. escudo Posted April 18, 2005 Share Posted April 18, 2005 Me and my friend, we are also 18, not alot of income. but we got one on south beach for 65 dollars. worked perfectly, only thing is my friend was retarded enoguh to drop it and break it. but we got another one for 50 dollars at another store... so 115 and we are all set. maybe 20 for flavor. we still have a good time.. i would buy it in a store if this is your first time because the people there know the stuff, and their easy to nagotiate prices with. You're making, what...$10 extra profit on the shipping alone? While I firmly belive in seperating a fool from his money, and ebay is a fine place to do it, why would anyone who knew of other sites with $6-10 shipping buy one from you? Its cool if you save money on the hookah, but why bother if you blow it on excessive shipping charges? In fairness, I was just browsing Ebay and you do not have the HIGHEST shipping rates..but they are close for domestic deliveries. The fact is how can we make money on $9.99 shipping on junior while it cost between $10.00 to $13 depending where it is shipped to. PLUS shipping material.
