Can someone give me a run down on some of the brands. Many of them have arabic names and i cant keep many of them straight. The only real stuff i have used is the Rommon and its much better then the stuff in the stores around here but they are self proclaimed crappy for hookah stuff and im pretty sure all the stuff is 2 years old. We bought some of it and it was horrible stuff so unless i want to drive an hour theres no good place to buy tobacco so ill have to buy my stuff online. What brands should i start to order online and does anyone have links to websites that have sample packs.

Well,  personally,  I like www.Hookah-Hookah.com for their Hookah-Hookah brand tobacco.

Best Hookah-Hookah flavors:  Grape, Apple, Pineapple, Melon, and
Margarita.  cypress rated the Strawberry a score of 9.5,  I
thought the Strawberry while very smooth was a bit subtle in flavor.

I know most people in this forum will kill me for this, but....I smoke Nakhla tobacco.

I know ppl think it sucks,  but its cheap, and their more natural flavours are quite nice.

Mint, double apple, strawberry, melon, and peach are all very good.  Banana's cool too

Nakhla can be quite hit or miss sometimes, I bought a 250 gram container of grape ... and it's quite crap.

Their "non-traditional" flavours like vanilla and cappuccino are nothing special, and mixed fruit kind of sucks...

So this is hardly a ringing endorsement of the Nakhla Corporation, but
you don't always need to pay double the price for decent tobacco.

For Nakhla I love
Mint, double apple, and melon, and strawberry is kind of a guilty
pleasure.  El Basha Jasmine made by Nakhla is also great. Plus,
Nakhla gets me the right kind of relaxed when I smoke it. I love the
premium flavors, but I've got no problem with some Nakhla flavors, and
in some cases (Double Apple) they are preferable.

The mixed fruit is another story, it's like smoking a bowl of rotting flesh, absolutley disgusting.

Boy, Mathazar certainly has a strong opinion about Nakhla.

I find the Nakhla fakhfakhina mixed fruit (in a dark box) to be
unflavourful and not entirely pleasant, but I don't know about rotting
flesh. Maybe you're talking to alen and his graveyard job too much.

The grape I got was El-Basha, and it's not good at all...it tastes like
it's been in an encosed space with boxes of licorice for too long, and
I hate licorice.

I'm talking regular Nakhla mixed fruit, not Fakhfakhina. You'd know it
if you smoked it, it would haunt your dreams for months, and you'd
smell it every time you went for a bite to eat, or to swig some liquid.
I think it's Nakhla's idea of a cruel joke.

My recommendation would be fakher. It's half the price of romman and you get a richer smoke with more flavour.

Romman is the best of the rest overall.

Significantly better than nakhla.

with regards to hookahhookah, I would have to say from the 3 flavours I
have tried that mathazar kindly provided, It is not at all recommended,
with the melon being a good flavour, albeit very very short smoking
time. Hazlenut and apple were terrible. I would stay away for now until
a consistent quality is achieved. If you do a search on this forum you
will find the reviews ranging from superb, to garbage, and sometimes by
the same people on the same flavours. :)

waha is similar to nakhla, with some flavours that compare.

Amir has a fantastic cherry ,but no idea about their other flavours.

Qema is similar to fakher, but a powerful tobacco hit, very strong.

The strawberry and the pineapple are the best ones that I liked. If
your are into cantelope then get the melon.  It had a good flavor
but I just not into cantelope.  Mathazar, have they ironed out
their QC issues yet.  I dont need to order any time soon because i
have 5 250's of Fakher and 6 Hookah Hookah and 5 Al Waha. Oh BTW
Mathazar I haven't taken a break yet. I smoke at least 1-2 bowls a day.
Especially after work or when I get up from work when I work nights.

I don't know if they've ironed-out their Quality Control issues
yet.  I know that Hookah-Hookah is now heat-sealing their
bags.  I know that they're  working-on a tighter-sealed
jar.  And supposedly within the next 2 months they're gonna have
20 new flavors available.

Mo.....the last time I smoked HH Apple,  it was fantastic.
And all the flavors I mentioned are very noteworthy also: Grape, Apple,
Melon, Pineapple, and Margarita. Margarita just happens to be the
finest Lime flavor I've smoked, it's BURSTING with flavor.  I find
that when I do a 50/50 mix of Romman Lemon & HH Margarita, I get a
fabulous Lemon/Lime flavor.......very citrusy

Oh,  and cypress,  lol,  I couldn't stop if I wanted
to.  I smoke til I'm blue in the face, and then I smoke a little
more.  I smoke til I'm coughing,  and then when I calm
down,  I smoke a little more.  There's no doubt about the
nicotine in ma'assel,  but even more than that, it's just the
ritual of puffing on that hose combined with the luxurious flavors that
keeps me smokin..........and I only smoke the good stuff

The service seems fine, except I'm pissed because I ordered what I
thought would be Nour natural coals, and they sent me Al-Manara coals,
which are absolutely awful. They stink up my house and make the smoke
bad. I complained to them and they said they'll forward it to their
"corporate office." What a bunch of crap.

Mathazer, I was under the impression that the last time you smoked H-H apple, it was tasteless doo-doo like mine. What gives?
Oh Ruarrip, I'm with alen. Nakhla has some great flavors. Just stick with the basic. I'm doing double apple at this moment and I am still convinced (after several "premium" brands) that they wrote the book on double apple and apple. Theur melon is really nice also, but it isn't a carbon copy of cantalope, but a really sweet neutral taste that is a wonderful change of pace. The grape is like a gum drop you would find back from the 1960s and my wife (MRS Bubble) and I like their cherry the best. It isn't the sweetest cherry, but it has one weird quality: it has that "back of the throat bite" that a mouthfull of real cherries gives you when you swallow them. No, it's not uncomfortable.

MR Bubble.......Yes,  it's true that one time I had HH Apple and
it was tasteless.  But I had some recently that was
absolutely-awesome.

I'm smoking Romman Double Apple right now with 2 Golden Coals, and I
have to say that it completely blows the pants off of Nakhla Double
Apple.  Romman's is simply exquisite

Exquisite doesn't cut it with double apple. That's like describing nails as "fluffy." Double apple should be the standard mind-blowing, lung-expanding smoke. All that other "premium stuff" is like a trip to Barney's kool-aid bar.
Foaming at the mouth,
MR Bubble
