Erica
QUOTE (ghostofdavid @ Jan 23 2007, 11:29 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I inquired for an order from these guys several times... 30 dollars isnt just to ship it... it is packing materials and the 30 dollars is roughly multiplied for each hookah you order... I requested a price for three large hookahs from this website and shipping to Ohio was around 110 bucks.BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I signed up and when I went to go to check-out, the shipping page showed the shipping costs as $0.00. From the domain, I don't think the shop is in Turkey... it is a .com site, if it was a turkish site, the site would prob. be .co.ty (or something like that). All though, if you look at the bottom of the site, it says Istanbul, Turkey... so I don't know.EDIT: I looked at the bottom and shipping to the US is based upon how many kg. is shipped. Sorry about what I said before. Edited January 24, 2007 by JoeLipinski
Sonthert
No, those Syrian pipes I have sold before, the screw together jar variety. They are the finest screw-on jar hookah made, in my opinion. I haven't had much experience with many of those product lines, but I would guess they are excellent.

I think a few others are too. If you've had experience with them, we're glad to hear about it
smiley
QUOTE (Erica @ Jan 23 2007, 05:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I think these two...Those are sweet erica, But becafreful the little mettal bottom is Hot glued to the glass vase. They sometimes come unglued. but I used Contact Cement to fix mine. They also smoke really well. they are a screw top. The stem screws int to the vase. The littler versions of those smoke real well. They looke like they used a Plastic Milk Shake Glass. but smoke like a champ.Smiley
ghostofdavid
I got a response from George and Company at Hookah and he said he cannot find any where to import nours from.
Lakemonster
There has to be a way to negotiate a better deal.I mean, come on.... I must admit..... I never did put in a counter offer.... but would that be so unheard if volume were invlovled, how hard would it be to negotiate a better price? If the only reason he doesn't stock them is that he can't find them, I hope Eric could perhaps help point him in the right direction. If Nours really aren't available, I'd hope HC would be willing to consider other similar options such as the pieces being discussed in this thread. Everyone wants brass! JesusDoesVegas
Aside from the pipes they sell, check out the other stuff they have to offer. The swords are pretty rad if you are into that sort of thing, and the furniture is downright awesome. Too bad shipping is so steep... those put my crappy particle board coffeetable to shame. MrMoodz
This was my first and only (so far) Syrian hookah. That hookah was my absolute favorite hookah. Until one day, the little pipe under the valve where the hose connects to bent and eventually broke off. We tried soldering it back on, but then some of it got in the pipe and restricted air flow. At that time, there was nothing else that could be done. R.I.P. "Trumpet" Hookah. I tossed the stem/shank and saved the jar.

ninjalover187
Yea, these hookahs rock. I think I could justify paying 30 for shipping since they are a good deal to begin with. Its going to take some thinking over but when that income tax check gets here we might be in business!
Sonthert
I looked at those pipes more closely. The pipes that are $30 or so are good quality. The other ones that are $10-$15 are crummy. Look at the difference in the workmanship....closely.
