samildanach
So Guys and Gals, was talkin about this on another post, but has anyone else tried freezing the hose before smoking from it?I find that the first 10-15 puffs are amazing. I usually put mine in the freezer in the fast freeze section along with my base and leave it for about 30 minutes.try it with some lemon mint ..it is an awesome smoke, shame it only stays ice cold for about 15 puffs..need somebody to invent something to keep the hose cool all through the session. [LB]
It wouldnt be hard to invent something, jsut some heat retaining material would keep the cool in. The problem is that the smoke is warm so its gonna heat all the air in there anyway- so i guess if you supercooled your smoke and insulated your hose you could keep it cool. This would require connecting a second chamber of ice to super cool that smoke. Im gonna try and build on of those tonight.

Molson
you know i cant stop thinking about what would happen if you used dry ice, aside from the fact that it may break your hookah its fine to inhale (not good) but certanly wont kill you, now dont get me wrong i won't try it....just curiouse what would happen
Allia22
Ice fiends... oy. Why not just add som AF mint to whatever you're smoking? That does great for me whenever I get the need for something cool. Or ice in your vase and stick the thing in a bucket of ice on top of it? I'm not too eager to put leather (or plastic, for that matter) hoses into the freezer because I wouldn't want them to crack. samildanach
QUOTE (web250 @ Jan 15 2007, 11:36 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Just be careful, extreme temperature changes can break the glass.to be honest , teh base goes straight from the freezer, into an ice bucket, so temperature wise its not fluctuating so much, obviously, i dotn put the tobacco bowl in the freezer for that exact reason.but thanks for the warning anyway.,
hmpitags2006
Glass does ok from cold->hot it is the other way around that causes it to break.
pavlakos
sounds like a sick idea but i can only imagine how stiff the hose would get, at least until it gets a little warmer.
