Bubble Gum

Fantasia Bubble Gum Setup: Khalil Mamoon Hafa, 1st gen Bowl: Small Tangiers Phunnel Hose: Nammor Base: Ice water Coals: 2 halves 40 mm Golden Foil: 1 layer heavy duty Reynolds Wrap - Cut: Medium, very juicy Smell: ??? Definitely not bubble gum. Has a hint of cherry. Smoke: Thick as usual Flavor: Again, nowhere near bubble gum. Balanced sweet flavor with that hint of cherry. Gave me a bit of that odd mouth-numbing sensation, though not nearly as strongly as the Fantasia Sweet Red Melon. Purchased From: Appleton Souvenir and Cigar Co. Overall: 3/10. The amount of smoke saves it, but the flavor is WAY off. I'm not even bothering to light a second set of coals to continue the session.

    Ace Of Spades

Fantasia Ace of Spades Setup: Khalil Mamoon Hafa, 1st gen Bowl: Small Tangiers Phunnel Hose: Nammor Base: Ice water Coals: 2 halves 40 mm Golden Foil: 1 layer heavy duty Reynolds Wrap - Cut: Medium, very few stems, medium amount of juice Smell: Mint and chocolate! Smoke: Thick as usual Flavor: Minty. As expected, chocolate doesn't translate well as a shisha flavor. Regardless, a good after-dinner smoke. Purchased From: Appleton Souvenir and Cigar Co. Overall: 8/10. I've had better chocolate-mint flavors, but it's still a good one.

Smoke: Thick as usual in spite of less glycerine/honey mixture Flavor: Nice sweet apple flavor, like green apple candy. VERY strong, doesn't make you guess for hours as to what exactly you're tasting. Purchased from: Appleton Souvenir and Cigar Co. Overall:10/10! I absolutely LOVE this flavor! By far, the best Fantasia flavor I've tried yet.

    Sweet Red Melon

It initially made my mouth a bit numb o_O Purchased from: Appleton Souvenir and Cigar Co. Overall: 8/10. It lost points for flavor accuracy, but nonetheless it was a good smoke, quite pleasant.

    Purple Haze

Smoke: Nice and thick Flavor: Slightly bitter on the draw. Kind of perfumey, but not as much as it smelled pre-smoke. Slightest hint of grape. Purchased From: Appleton Souvenir and Cigar Co. Overall: 7.5/10. I wouldn't buy it again because I know there's better stuff out there, but it was a pleasant smoke nonetheless. The taste is more for a sophisticated crowd that doesn't want to smoke something that's straight up fruit, although I wish they'd change the name to something more sophisticated. 7.
Alli !!!! ( JK ) Uh... the dumbest thing? probbly a pumpkin hookah when I first started. I got it cause it was " Cute "
I say that's a wise investment! You didn't pile a ton of money into something you didn't know for sure you'd like! It's better than being stuck with something hardcore and expensive after your interest fizzled out. Besides, I've seen people rock those things, it's just that the smoke gets hot very quickly. Mine would have to be cosplays. I've got Quistis and Julia from Final Fantasy VIII and an attempted 50's halter dress half done. I don't want to even look at them because it looks like a retarded kid was making them, and I swear all $700 in top-of-the-line materials/patterns/accessories are going in the burner if I do look. To the tailor! T_T
  8. XXXhale Quick-lights I ran into these at work. There was a minor coal shortage, so my boss decided to order these instead of our usual Goldens since the warehouse for these was closer. Only reason. The guy's a cigar smoker, so he didn't know how horrified my coworker and I were at their arrival, and even more so when we found he'd ordered two entire months' supply of them. (I personally think he ordered them because of their name) ANYWAY... The smell when lighting's terrible, which is to be expected. However, aside from not giving off too much heat, they also shattered into tiny property-damaging chunks whenever we'd try to manage the coals. So many holes in the carpet... O_O They didn't give off too much of a quick-light taste, at least when compared to Goldens, but they'd also burn extremely fast, leaving us to keep the coal whole unless we wanted to barge into the table's conversation every 10 minutes to check the coals. Conclusion: 7/10. They'll do in a pinch without harming the flavor much, but upgrade ASAP.
  9. I'm here... just not often >.< And why the deuce is my old avatar now misshapen after I uploaded a new one? Blargh, beehive...

Mum identified the heaviness as a slow gin. Smoke: Very thick, I think I have the coals at the limit without burning the 'baccy Flavor: I have NO idea what the drink Adios Mofo consists of so I'm running blind, but anyway... I expected a lot more oomph out of the most popular flavor at my job, but I think the name's the big selling point. There's a generic WEAK fruity sweetness balanced with a tang, kind of like a raspberry flavor, but it's certainly not raspberry... Really, not a clue. Purchased from: Appleton Souvenir and Cigar Co., from there it's fresh from the factory, I guarantee it Overall: 6/10. The smoke's wonderful, but that's all I give it. The flavor is just so weak...
Eh, I worked at a hookah bar in Tallahassee and if we messed anything up once we got fired, you had to know your stuff and how to fix it. I wish all hookah bars knew wtf they were doing. Granted some things are a matter of opinion/preference but there are some basic things that can ruin a hookah. Within a week of the new cafe opening in Cincinnati, the owner knew my name and never asked questions when I walked in and went right to the kitchen to make my own hookah. I've also helped expand his menu, though I havn't introduced him to Tangiers yet, I might bring a bowl of Lucid M.Cherry in to see how he feels about it, but I don't know if I can talk him into ordering 15-20 phunnels lol.
The phunnels are an EASY sell, trust me! Just tell him about how the quick and easy clean-up will allow more customers within the course of a night. *psst... don't let him know that the sessions are longer... it's kind of a deal-breaker if the session's one bowl, unlimited coals...*
