mikem
It's bee nsuch a long time since I've been on this forum. My hookah has been sitting in my closet for over a year, does anyone have any special cleaning tips they can dish out.I want it to smoke like a brand new hookah. I know I need new hoses for sure. Does cleaning with lemon juice work well?
Johnny_D
Hi!Give the whole hookah a damn good cleaning. I'm a little old fashioned so i tend to use Fairly liquid and lots of scrubbingfollowed by rinsing with lots of warm water..The hose... Tricky one. I have cleaned 'non washable' hoses before. Using lemon juice and as quickly as possible swish it aroundand then blow lots of air down it...I have a car tyre inflator thing that uses the cigarette lighter socket in my car. Just attach the hose to the end of something like thisand blast the living daylights out of it, weather you wash it or not.If you don't have one take your hose down to the garage and try it!Good LuckJD

EvansLight
I suggest some lemon juice and hot water loving. i hadnt cleaned my qt or my SS hookah in months, and it just took a good 30 minute soak in lemon juice, and it came out smelling like it had never been smoked with before
Macho555
I had one myself like that...I soaked it with HOOOOT water mixed with lemon juice for about an hour, then scrubbed the living hell out of it.
Zerodynamic
I had a huge pasta boiling pot... I put the base, the stem, and my washable hoses in it with water and lemon juice and let it get it a boil... wow is all I have to say! All the gunk that was in my hoses was disgusting. I got all of the little surface rust off the stem, and the base smells brand new.
