So what we did was: 1. set up argile with you favorite shisha 2. unscrew the blow out valve 3. remove ball bearing 4. light a ciggarate 5. squeeze the filter and stuff it in the blow out valve 6. smoke like normal, but don't blow. I like to smoke the traditional way too for its flavor. Sariel said he wanted something that tasted like clove cigarettes. So, clove is on the way. Whether we like his idea or not, at least give him credit for having an original idea. Thats what I think. Without guys like him, we wouldn't even have purge valves. What do you need a purge valve for? Maybe it was designed as a cigarette port. OK, navynmr, it wasn't a cigarette port. Keep coming up with ideas, though! Edit: Intriguing idea...really. Why couldn't we just add a straight filter to thin out smoke? How come we couldn't daisy chain single hose hookahs? Just limit yourself to 1 hit of nitrous per minute or so. Even though you wont feel the effect constantly, your brain will have plenty of oxygen from the breaths in between. You can compare it to breathing helium from balloons to make your voice squeaky, one lungfull wont ravage your brain. But if you do it breath after breath you wont get enough oxygen. With that said, I have some second thoughts about blowin the stuff through your hookah. N2O is also used in cars to boost horsepower by providing more oxygen to mix with the fuel. I don't know if the gas itself is flammable or not, so playing with it around hot hookah coals may not be such a great idea. If anyone knows more about it, feel free to clarify my confusion. And for the record, I never plan on doing the whole nitrous through your hookah thing, it was just a silly idea I got from whoever was joking about hooking a crack pipe up to the bowout valve. But this is an interesting idea for one reason... whippits coming out can get REALLLLY friggin cold... esp. depending on the brand of charger that you get and how many chargers have been used in a row... this could actually cool the smoke really good... But anyway, back on topic of the original post by navy, I can't figure out the problem. First, he said they had been drinking. Everyone (who smokes) knows that your addiction level skyrockets while drinking. What about music? When one drinks ( a little too much) we need music louder. Our hearing doesn't seem as sensitive. So, would he be out of line and untraditional to turn up the volume? Gee, how many nights have I sat there sh!t-faced listening to Tull ( a Tullathon) all night? Same principle as what he did.
