sour smelling tobacco?

Recommended Posts

Nicotine inhibits growth of yeasties that create fermentation...unless Al Waha switched to washed tobacco and forgot to add chemical preservatives. Although the honey is a natural medium, is sterile. Hmmm. I tend to think its something from the manufacturing, but intended and believed to be safe. I'm thinking about the melon flavor I was just testing, it had an odd, musty odor too. Some flavors change alot based on humidity shock. Maybe thats the case here.
gave it a day to acclimate,  Sour smell is still there, but alot less pungant then yesterday.  Had a smoke with natural coals on it, was really good. Flavour isnt terribly strong, but is definately there. Massive buzzes, to the point of both me and renushka feeling sick afterwards, but we were both smokin on empty stomachs, so i think that was the cause..  Shisha was good, real good :)
Toldja so.

Joey32B was by last night and he told me he smelled the same thing from a melon tobacco...maybe some people smell it and smell vinegar whereas other people don't. Sense of smell is easily the most variable, erratic sense humans have.
