Idea right now is to fly to London where I have a friend who said I could stay with him, and while I'm there take trips to Scotland and Wales, then hop over to Ireland, come back, take the chunnel to Paris and then to Brussels, then back to London. Chunnel tickets are only $66 so that's not too bad, so on top of the plane ticket I'm only looking at ~1200 for travel, saving a lot on hotels and such by staying with friends/sleeping on train/staying at hostels.
