Don't rush the lighting process by blowing on them. They'll pop and explode, causing harm to your surrounding surface area. You must be paitent with these to get a good uniform light.Smell: very faint and natural coal smell. not chemical or harsh. Smell only present when lighting coal.Taste: NoneLongevity: two coals= 1hr.Ashing: uniform and thourough. Price: $7.99 for 1kg . Great valueHeat: They get very hot, but you get a uniform redness and ash.I like these coals so far. They are a BIG step up from the quick light coals i was using, and I've noticed that my smoke session was a lot more pleasent- no headache, or nasty chemical taste added to the shisha.
