Sultan Natural Finger Coals

Recommended Posts

Sultan Brand Japanese style Coals (Not easy lites)

Lights easy

Only smells when lighting but not badly although the smell gives my girl a headache

Last for a whole bowl when I'm by myself which usually means 1.5 hours plus

Only drawback is the coating around it, if its not completley burnt when you place them on the bowl, you get a bad taste. I'm also convinced that the coating had magnesium in it because at times it will all light at once and burn quickly with a tremendous white light. Don't know if thats a good thing.

overall rating 9/10

Sultan Tobacco Coal Syrian Coal

Lighting: About 5 minutes

Density: Not that dense...but cheap for me at $4 for a kilogram

Smoking: Finger coals, they like to roll off sometimes but that may be because I have never used a finger coal before

Taste: No taste after about 10 minutes, but still coal taste for the first 10 even if fully lit

Duration: Once again, don't last that long but for the price it's not bad

Overall: 8/10, good coal for the price for when Coconaras are not in my budget Edited by Sordino
