This bowl smokes great only using two CCN halves. I imagine you could do one coal on the edge and rotate it around as well, although I haven't tried it. This bowl is THE shisha saver. I've only smoked two rounds of coals on it, so about 2 hours or so. Still had flavor. Probably could have gone another round. If you're a Tangiers smoker and are looking to save on shisha, you get your money back in no time with this bowl. Impressed with the precision and symmetry. [b]Cleanability:[/b] Pretty easy. most everything comes off with water, around the edges the juice got baked on but it was easy to clean with some 91% rubbing alcohol and a rag. This is exactly what I've been looking for. Smokes just like the Tangiers Phunnel, just uses a fraction of the shisha. So far I've had perfect success with Al Fakher, Al Waha, and Starbuzz using only 1 Coco Nara(cut in half) at a time. I don't see this bowl as strictly a single-smoker bowl, as it can go at least 2 rounds with several people and smoke like a champ. IMO, there is no room for improvement on this design. First smoke was Nak Peach, using 2 halves of a 3 kings coal, full flavor full smoke of a regular med tangiers phunnel. Bowl lasted about 40 minutes, but I probably could have squeezed an hour out of it if I had put new coals on. Best bowl for a short smoke. [b]Cleanability:[/b] If you clean it right after you're done smoking, everything comes off pretty easy, but if you let it sit for a few hours, then you will have to use something like scotch brite to get it clean, but still not too much work. What I love about this bowl is that despite being a tobacco saver bowl, it doesn't compromise on the performance! I get great airflow, good clouds and good flavour out of it for about 2 hours with AF, and about 3 hours with Tangiers. It doesn't need much coal, obviously...smokes brilliantly with 2 halves. Glass doesn't retain heat as well as clay though, so I have to keep my wind cover on throughout the session, but I don't see it as a problem at all. I love this bowl. LOVE it. If you don't like to smoke for 4-5 hours at one go, I suggest you give this bowl a try.
