Milk In The Vase

Recommended Posts

So I've made a video smoking the exact same setup twice. once with water, once with milk in the vase.

I'm struggling to upload the vid, but I don't think it's worth the trouble.

Smoke density: Pretty much the same
Smoothnes: No change
Flavour: The milk made the smoke taste a little of milk(no shit) and a bit cooler, but other than that, nothing

Don't waste the dairy

pretty cool...people were talking about how someone should do a double setup and compare and you stepped up to the plate

I still might try it once to see if I can enhance a flavor I'm smoking...to give it a creamy flavor to it

Thanks rivet.

What I did was set my hookah up, got it going to an acceptable level to where I felt it wouldn't improve any more. Took a couple of drags to make sure it's consistent and get a feel for the smoke. I then pulled the stem out, added milk, shook it around and popped the stem back in. So exact same setup.

I found the following things.

It does add a taste to the shisha. If you like the taste would depend on if you like milk
Smoke felt "cooler" but not smoother at all. This might also be because the milk came from the fridge where the water was from the tap.
Density was pretty much the same.

So yeah, if you like the taste of milk, it's worth it, otherwise, don't waste your time

I wonder how it works out across brands? I have actually gotten smoother and thicker smoke with milk from Al-Waha, but I've never tried it with tangiers or SB or Nahkla. What tobacco were you using?

I've never tried a bowl of completely milk. However i have added milk to the water. I find it accents flavors like orange/vinilla mix

Second of all you do mean a vase of completely milk right?
Pure milk in the vase bubbles up and ruins everything.

yeah yeah definitly in the base. I was trying to understand if people were using just milk because in my experience that doesn't work.
