Problems With Hookah, And Needing Help

Here's my problem. I have a hookah that is missing the downstem, it broke a few months back, and I cannot find a replacement to save the life of me. Maybe one of you guys can help me out and at least identify the type of hookah it is or if someone around here has an extra downstem around. I'm thinking it's syrian hookah. The stem is very heavy, it screws off in 4 or 5 pieces excluding the downstem and has a etched design in it. The ideal downstem I need is about 1/2" diameter, the threads aren't small, but they aren't extremely large either, and it should be about 8" long. Here are some links to the pictures of the hookah. the hookah definitely looks like a Syrian I would probably try to find a retailer online that is carrying a stem similar to yours and call them asking if they can sell you just the downstem

the QT stem fits my syrian I just extended it because it was really short and I bought a 9 1/2 inch mya stem and I am waiting for that to come in (sould be here tomorrow) and I'll tell you if that fits. You can bring it to a hardware store find a copper fitting piece and then go to a hobby shop and get a brass pipe to fit in the copper piece.(maybe) Edited August 16, 2008 by sss8789

Where did you end up buying a stem at? It must have been a local store near you since I've never seen any place on the net that sells downstems.
