shesha1
Is this normal? has anyone experienced this before?
NickReppinThe909
all shisha is different and it can be tempermental and varies from batch to batch but do what you have to do to get it to smoke right
Itami
for me, no matter what I do with heat management/windcover, the first few hits of pink lemonade kinda itch the throat, a similar sensation to overly hot or burning shisha in any other context. For me, I start off slow with the heat so that that phase goes smoothly, then ramp up the heat or add windcover as needed. Certain brands or even flavors have their own needs for heat and other things, and that seems to be a caveat to enjoying pink lemonade. This is still totally worth it depsite that. It's just so sweet for so long...mmmm

If its fantasia, the first few hits are always like that, but after few min, it mellows out and is very good. How many coal are you using?
Itami
I start with one 33mm 3k, or 2 little squares of exoticas if I'm not feeling too lazy to go downstairs to the only coil stove. I'll have either another half of a 3k or another 1 or 2 little pieces of exoticas for when that thoat tickle comes to an end. Basically, I dont apply the coal I would to start a normal bowl, cause I don't want the throat tickling to be as powerful and strong as I want the hits to end up being. This isn't with all fantasias, just with pink lemonade for me.
shesha1
I was treating it like my standard bowls, I use two Golden square coals. I tried it again late last night, after I p/u gta4. Again it was freakin un-smokable for the first 10 min, but it alright after that. I get the appeal. It smells like heaven, tastes like nothing I have ever tasted. Just not my thing. ( too hot)I dont think Ill buy it again though. And yes its Fantasia.
