SimplexCoda Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 Ok since HS is having their sell I bought me 4 packs of tangiers. I got Cocoa, Vanilla, Rootbeer, and Orangesoda. First wish me luck as this will be my first endevor into the tangiers. Also, Im hoping that these are all the new batches that dont need acclimation. mdl Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 Do you have a funnel bowl?As for acclimation; I would acclimate for 2-3 hours since I'm sure the humidity in New Mexico is quite a bit lower than that of San Diego. 2-3 hours should be enough for the tobacco to reach equilibrium and if it is not then acclimate a little more. Remember to acclimate in the envirnoment you will be smoking it in and if you have a funnel bowl, when it comes time to pack it do not be afraid to pack A LOT of the tobacco into it. And if you dont have a phunnel, its helps alot to pack it too, with a pinky sized hole in the center. I couldnt get it to smoke right out of a mod or an egyptian, but after the hole in the middle it worked fine. I just about finished my first batch of tangiers (orange soda) and it was good.
