Cerritus Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Anyone know what temp a bowl needs to stand up to? I just finished building my first hookah and I want to make the bowl as well. I just don't know what I need to make it out of to stand up to the temp.and yes I know that i need to switch the copper out for brass, that's next. I lit it up last night and it smokes better than the little Mya I took the bowl from. The copper pipe doesn't heat up much at all oddly enough. After an hour of smoking I could touch the pipe directly under the bowl and it was much cooler than the hot water pipes in my house. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
