Pleasant at preventing coals from flying off the bowl, they get really hot though. Bowls fine.

yep, i smoke almost exclusively out of combo bowls. only other thing is a funnel, and thats only when people are over really cause im too damn lazy to fuck with coals all the time. if you know how to use them, you can smoke a delicious session without ever touching the bowl.

Do you really need to be smoking as you fall asleep? toss the coals in the toilet before you nod off.

There's simply no failsafe way to prevent burning your house down sleeping next to your hookah, especially if you're like me and tend to thrash around in your sleep. If you're having really crazy dreams, you might even try to eat the coals!
