  1. I saw the Starbuzz PP in my local shop about a month ago - and I don't think they have stuff that old on their shelves, so I don't think that flavour is only seasonal. Gosh, I hope not.
  2. I forget all of the tobacco prices, but they carry Starbuzz, Layalina, Al Fakher, and a couple others I can't seem to remember. They had either Nahkla or Pharoah. I can't remember which. A 250g tub of Layalina is $8.99. The Starbuzz was $9.99 - $16 (I think). Most all 50g were $1.50 - $1.95. The choarcoal was great. They have natural coals from small bags to big - BBQ charcoal size bags. It is a small store, but it is packed full of stuff. The owners have a definate love for hookah. They even thrrew in some free tobacco at my last purchase. Well - I did buy 13 different flavours. I think they were very happy to see me. The grocery store next to it carries Al Amir, and some other brand. Quite an impressive selection for a grocery store. They are closed on Tuesdays. My first drive there, all I could do was wistfully look in the windows. They seriously have some beautiful hookahs. I bought my 36" chiller hookah, complete with everything and case there for $79. I really love that place.
  3. I found a place in Anaheim - Discount Smoke Shop - that is full of beuatiful, and well priced hookahs. Lots of tobaccos. 2 doors down from it is an Arabic grocery store with an impressive tobacco selection as well. Double score! The people are really nice at the smoke shop. The are on Ball Rd, in between Brookhurst and Magnolia.
  4. We just bought a 47" LCD from HP. We love - love - love it. It was $2000. OUrs is also 1080. I think we got it from the Best Buy in Garden Grove.
  5. Nah, you don't sound like a dick. It's totally true. And I am the first one to admit I am completely OCD with my hookah. My friends so make fun of me.
  6. We like to listen Dead Can Dance, Arcade Fire, Incubus, ELO, and Black Sun Ensemble - among others.
  7. We have just made it part of our smoking ritual. My boyfriend and I have differnt "jobs" we both take care of when we smoke. He lights the coals for me, and dis-assembles the hookah after smoking. I assemble the hookah, pack the bowl, and scrub the daylights out of it after smoking. He cleans the charcoal pans. I am in charge of charcoal when smoking. This is a new hookah - so the thrill is still there for me whenever I clean it. I hope that thrill doesn't go away. I figure, if I don't have time for a good cleaning afterwards, I don't have time to smoke.
  8. I like the Passion Kiss, as well. I think it smells a bit like passion fruit, but I agree the taste is hard to describe.
  9. Here is what I got. Not sure exactly how many inches. I know it is over 3'. It smokes great. I broke it in last night with some Starbuzz Passionate Kiss. Got a great deal on it.
  10. I live in West Side Costa Mesa - by Triangle Square. I have been going to The Sulatana Hookah Lounge on 19th. Today, I am buying my own hookah. A friend suggested a store in Anaheim on Ball Rd. - I went last night (not knowing they were closed on Tuesdays) and was only able to look through the glass. Oh my God - I can not wait to go back to this place today! It was amazing. And I could smell the shisha from outside the glass. It was wonderfull..... I wonder if they are open yet.
  11. $12 dollars where I go. My friend goes to a different lounge I want to check out. $5 cover, but only $5 for bowls and $3 for refills.
  12. I am new to Hookah. I live in Orange County. I recently visited a hookah lounge in my neighborhood and became instantly obsessed. I have been researching places to get s dcent one for home - should be picking one up tonight. I have learned a lot of things reading this forum. Thanks, everyone.
