I always pack my tangiers well above the rim and never pack it down. I just think it smokes better if its got some airflow. Also I poke a single in the center of the funnel, cleaner air and venting for blowback. I can smoke 3+ hours with solid tangiers and amazing smoke.

Brass will probably find its way on to it but i think the copper tubing with dirty silver welds and a little tarnished is what i want.

My initial ideas are to use a lot copper piping over an existing pipe so it's functional without any weird taste repurcutions and to build a wooden base around the vase. i'm still trying to work out gears or knobs.

The K-Peach with Starbuzz pumpkin pie is pretty amazing. try acclamating it longer.

Are you using a funnel bowl ? some tangiers in a regular bowl can be really harsh. also try cutting it with something other than tangiers.

IF you get your new peipe and you still have problems you may want to just try different brands of shisha as well. I find that Fumari smokes better almost anything and if you want something less pricey try Al Fahkar. Also i found that switches to one of the larger diameter hoses does wonders tooo

I just got back from Coachella and I'm Steampunk crazy. I know a lot of people out there have some homemade hookahs, so i was wondering if anyone as attempted to make one in steampunk fashion. I think it would be sick and I have some ideas on the design. anyone else have ideas ?

I just bought a Mya 18" and the acrilic base is leaking through the seems. Does any body have experience finding a replacement base to fit this stem ? the Pipe smokes great but i've only had it for 5 days and the water seeps right out of it. anybody please help.
