I'm still learning how to manage heat with my phunnel. The flavor was sweet with a taste of ripe pears, which was good. A clean smoke, and pretty yummy. I don't know if it's the same way with the vortex as it is the phunnel, but with a phunnel you should fill it up a little above the top and then smoosh it down a little. That might help a little. Also, you could try breaking up a coal so it's 2.5 coals, might work.

I'm plan on lighting up a bowl of Nakhla mint tonight. I tried some Al-Waha pear last night and the flavor was good.

If the tax was to go up, it would just have to turn into something that isn't everyday. It would be like, alright, I bought a 250 gram box, and I have to make it last. That's how I look at it atleast.

I use Windows and I like it, but what I've seen Macs look nice. I ran Linux for a while, but found it tricky, but then again I was preeeeetty young when I tried it, like, 12 or 13. I kinda wanna try Linux again.

You can use a liquid other then water in the vase, it just helps if you don't put anything very sticky in there because it can be a pain to clean. I've never mixed herbal and regular tobacco, but it might taste good. You'll have to give it a try. I would stay away from the pipe tobacco, unless you're going to try making some shisha yourself. I figure if you throw it in with some other shisha it will just take away from the experience of smoking just the shisha. Hope that helps a bit.
