1. I used to smoke back in the day at my parents house it was an old farm house and my room was about 10 by 12 with low angled ceilings and we had co2/ smoke detectors and it never set it off for co2 smoke once or twice in the winter but never co2, Ill put it this way burning a couple pieces of charcoal makes less co2 than all the electricity expended on this thread
2.
Hope this isn't a repost. I searched but didn't find anything...even in the reviews area. I came across a site called alibaba.com that offers some beautiful hookahs. I've seen some other people on here post links to pictures on the site. I was just wondering if anyone has ordered off of there? What was the service like? All that good jazz. I hope it's legit. Found some hookahs on there I'd be afraid to smoke from...decoration-only material haha.
Sorry i use every excuse to use this even though I don't believe this is actually a re-post That said its like amazon for manufacturers as Stuie said but without a reliable rating system and most of the vendors on there do have minimum order requirements but.... A lot of vendors on there are counterfeiters, http://www.responsemagazine.com/resources/legal-resources/legal-review-how-handle-counterfeiters-alibabacom-804 or in either case less than reputable to say the least If you set it to search for USA company's only then maybe because you might have some legal recourse but if you don't have a recommendation from someone you know then i would really consider pursuing other avenues. There have been many reports on them just google alibaba reviews or reports ect.
3.
you can sign up by going into my controls and selecting paid subscription it costs a one time fee of $15
Ive been to my settings and my profile already and didn't see anything labeled my controls and went through every option there is with no luck as of yet, I am assuming just a issue with the new layout? Or am I missing something?
4. When you first sign up there was a place to purchase a premium subscription but no option after starting your account?
5. It's like a bad scene from fear and loathing in las vegas
6. I must say in hindsight my response wasnt warranted either for that i apologize. Im just used to forums being catty bitch fest full of 14 year old whiners or people that have a power trip complex reffering to other unnamed sites, if you know what i mean.
7. QUOTE (inino @ Dec 8 2009, 11:42 AM) QUOTE (-Bones- @ Dec 8 2009, 10:30 AM) for one my wife comes home last month and tells me she bought a ed hardy t shirt at the mall i find the receipt the next day on sale it was frickin 85 dollars, But i have to give it to the man being a tattoo artist also i have a lot of respect for him as he was a student of Sailor Jerry Collins, with that being said, In May 2009, Iconix Brand Group, Inc. announced that the Company has acquired a 50% interest in Hardy Way, LLC, the owner of the Ed Hardy brand and trademarks. The Company paid $17 million for its interest in Hardy Way, consisting of $9 million in cash and $8 million in stock. In addition, the sellers could be entitled to receive an additional $1 million in stock pursuant to an earn-out based on 2009 royalties received by Hardy Way. Hardy Way estimates that 2009 royalty revenue will be approximately £10 million. He basically sold the rights to his name and style he personally doesn't design every piece of art or decide what products it goes on. Don't tell me at 63 you wouldn't be making a pile of money if you could and retire, Did he sell out? yeah but would you rather be un trendy and broke or make several million. Ive been collecting ed hardy tattoo memorabilia for about 15 years would I buy this probably if nothing else there wont be that many of them made and in 20 years the collectors value will probably triple, ive got a 8x10 drawing of his from the 60's that i bought for $20.00 15 years ago that now is worth about 1600.00 In saying you dont like something because it is popular it is a oxymoron in the fact you are still letting the masses dictate what you do or don't purchase or do or don't like. Personally I like making decisions for myself. Ok now there are two people with low post counts that joined within 1 week backing up this piece of shit with useless facts about the guy and his stupid company. Im sensing some serious trolling. say something knowledgeable about hookah and prove yourself not a troll. getout.gif Well since people being like this is the reason i dont participate on any other hookah boards, and by the way inino ive spent plenty of time in chat as of late, i dont take particularly well to being told to get out i think everything from ed hardy car air fresheners to the clothing is friggin stupid, useless facts? And if you actually read what i wrote i was backing no one up or agreeing with anyone just stating an opinion like everyone else are you the opinion nazi now? Say something knowledgeable about hookahs lol I have nothing to prove to you whatsoever (even though i am quite knowledgeable and have been smoking hookahs for many years) and that is really kinda oxymoronic seeing as how most people come here to learn about hookahs for one. Your lucky ive got thick skin a lot of people would have probably just left, and seeing as how im getting ready to spend a few hundred with a vendor from here they probably wouldn't be too happy if i didn't because someone on this board has a bad attitude for no apparent reason. If i had done something great wonderful call me out on it but your logic is messed up , I put up with enough crap when i was in the army i wont take it anymore if its not deserved. Opinions are like @$$holes everyone's got em but im entitled to mine to and not to be told to get out for mine, if i wanted to be subjected to something like that i would live in china or north korea. OH and see rule one inino 1) Maintain a civil manner and tone. This is a friendly forum with a wide variety of people from lots of different places. We will not all agree on issues. Feel free to express yourself, but name calling, personal insults, and baiting will not be tolerated. Profanity is permitted in it's proper context. Trolling or baiting will result in immediate permanent banning of user's account Sure sounds like you were trying to bait me into a disagreement and calling someone a piece of shit is not inline with the rules either
8. Dont forget guys and gals that some insurance company's will either raise your rates or drop you completely now if you smoke, And if your health insurance is through your employer thanks to obama they have the right to fire you for smoking tobacco if they decide so it doesn't impact the overall cost of their portion of payment. The do have to offer a smoking cessation program but can reserve the right and it is also becoming more routine for some company's to test for nicotine along with a normal drug test.

12. Just reminded of this candle my wife got a couple years ago called smell my nuts yep that's what its called. My first half drunk reaction how the f@%*.... why.... and why would you even?? And that candle better not smell anything like the title or I am filing for divorce on principle. http://www.ourowncandlecompany.com/orderfo...products_id=374 But it actually smells really good its a combination of Banana Nut Bread, Coconut and Hazelnut it makes me hungry every time she lights it, and would make an excellent flavor combo in my opinion.
13. Sounding good man run with it, just pick a few key points to go into use google and come up with a paragraph or two on say 4-5 key points with that and a small closing and you'll have your 1500 in no time and when tackling it a "key point at a time" it doesn't seem so overwhelming and allows you to put more detail into each section. So like right where you left off give it a paragraph about how and why illiteracy increases it, then maybe hit on say lack of family planning information and birth control due to economic reasons at the government (ie no government sponsored programs)and citizen level (ie too poor to buy condoms) then hit on maybe in some places its a cultural thing to have big family's cant think of an example at the moment but shouldn't be hard to find , A good one for consequences is the fact that higher birth rates in LLDCs puts even more socio-economic strain on the government and family which only contributes even more to the problem without a break in the cycle it becomes exponentially worse. Left completely unchecked by nature, government programs, or education, a given land mass would overpopulate till the land they live on can no longer support in resources what the people need to consume to survive. The root cause of many wars was the resources needed to survive. I could keep on rambling but ive been drinking and in no shape to put this eloquently, and im sure my grammar is suffering greatly at the moment.
14. If i may the question is asking why the high fertility rates not why the high birth rate, but then precedes to touch on population control, examples of a very controversial population control is china's policy, and its fairly easy to find most country's population control programs online Africa has a wealth of information available due to the aids issue there population/anti aids program is nearly the same and some employ birth limits or birth taxes, but the way I read the question is why the high fertility rate which is not the same issue as high birth rate but the common consensus is its the same thing though it is not. So it seems to be addressing two different things. But on the same note alot of cultures have many children with the assumption some will die\ high infant death rate, lack of family planning care/birth control, safety in numbers/ more help to generate food and water Just food for thought. edit i had to write a paper on this about 10 years ago this is just what was on the top of my head
15. Depends on the medical procedure #1 Big number one anything oral or gastro or cardiovascular would be a no no for a while, Nicotine constricts the vascular walls and raises heart rate and blood pressure which could cause complications with bleeding ect ect. #2 it can have a negative effect on the immune system give yourself some time to heal up infection is the number one killer after surgeries remember its not good for you no matter which way you cut it im not saying its as bad as cigarettes but your body should devote all its energy to healing yourself #3 this all depends on the severity of the surgery if your having something like a torn meniscus or ligament fixed then you should be good to go, I know you don't want to ask your doctor and get a raft of crap hell say no dont smoke no matter what and dont forget guys and gals alot of insurance companies will raise rates/ drop you if they find out you smoke... close family member is a doctor if you have any specific questions let me know and i can ask her
