1. Al-Waha tobacco has always been a hell of a deal in local smokeshops for me. We're talking around 2 bucks for 50g. That always blew the morewell-known brands out of the water for me, but I still decided to spend more onsome Romman or AF because I could confidently make a great session for buddies.I recently started making my own tiny phunnels out of egyptian bowls and makingan island thing with foil, and a few days ago I decided to buy some Al-WahaOrange Cream and Turkish Coffee. I'm sitting here smoking the Turkish Coffeeright now and I can say that I've never felt like my money was better spent ontobacco. I've tried AW in a regular phunnel as well, but I just don't feel likeI'm getting the bang for my buck unless I'm smoking with lots of people (too much tobacco). If youhaven't already, try packing this stuff loosely in any phunnel by sprinkling itto the rim, then use a fork or your finger to lightly push the tobacco belowthe rim. Poke plenty of very small holes, not large ones. It is smoking greatright now with flavor like a real cup of black coffee and thiiick smoke. Greatstuff. Two thumbs up!
2. Picked up a small basic egyptian bowl today after using mod bowls and phunnels for a million years. I have to say, they make a huge difference (in comparison to mod bowls). They look like they are much thicker and better built. I just loaded some lucid kashmir cherry in mine and it's smokin' great!
3. Loaded 4 coco halves on some lucid kashmir cherry and it burned the shiiiii out of it. Too much heat? I loaded it correctly, like any other tangiers bowl I've loaded. I used to use 4 whole golden pieces, but are cocos that much hotter?
4. Just got some tangiers lucid kashmir cherry in the mail, opened it up, and it smelled strongly of cherries and ammonia. What exactly is the kashmir part supposed to smell like? Thanks for any info. I'm sure it will get better the longer it's in my apartment, but I doubt it could be an acclimation issue...could it?
5. At the time, I liked flavored things and nicotine... and the smoke looked cool to my circle of friends and me cuz we listened to a lotta music that would look like smoke if you projected the notes onto a screen.

John's Narbish goes really well with the black/gold theme and I recently picked up some material from a fabric store for the vase lol. Thank god there's a black tangiers phunnel.. and not to mention, I got the Diva stem and vase for only $50 at a local junk shop!! It was a total steal. The only thing that's kinda awkward is how huge the wind cover is, but I guess it's proportionate to the hose.
7. Mya Diva fo' realll. Mya makes an incredible product. Hands down.
8. Which tangiers flavor in your experience has been the easiest to acclimate? I've tried cocoa, orange soda, and horchata, and all were fairly finicky. I live in Oregon, if that makes a dif. Thanks. -b
9.
By the way, try good times, and ivory coast, those are two of my favorite romman flavors.
I'm going to guess that good times is a mellow blend of fruit and mint and ivory coast tastes like an elephant. haha jk I have no idea what they are.
10. IS GOOD! Loaded up some blueberry in a phunnel fake with 3 coco halves. I've been a fan of al fakher, but it seems like it always has so much dye in it. Does romman have dye? It doesn't really look like it, since the blueberry batch was a brownish color. Huge clouds and tasty smoke. No buzz though, lol.
11. Hydrate yourself like CRAZY when you smoke hookah! What you had was carbon monoxide poisoning from lack of oxygen to the brain. I remember getting a few of those gnarley headaches back in the day and I'll never make the mistake of not chugging water before each session again.
12. Awesome. Thanks. I'm going to follow stuie. I'll let everyone know how the session goes thanks again
13.
Pack tight........cut the cocos in half. Start out with 2 halves and add from there if necessary.
I usually use three whole ones with al fakher...you sure about two halfs? that's only one coal lol
14. Hey. I normally don't buy fantasia cuz it's so damn expensive, but I have a small phunnel (and a scalli mod I can use) and would like some advice on packing ASAP. Thanks ...using coconara tonight btw.
15. try packing things other thank Nakhla and Tangiers in a phunnel bowl like this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5OenG74ftI it works well for me. In any regular bowl using a circular QL and stuff like Al-waha, poke your holes in a circular pattern (small holes) so your circle is only a tiny bit bigger than the QL. Pack your tobacco somewhat loose to maintain airflow and lightly push it down so it is sitting lower than the rim of the bowl. If you are using cocos in this setup, try two of them with the same hole pattern, but place the cocos more on the perimeter of your hole pattern. If you have airflow problems, poke a big hole down the center of foil through the hole in the bottom of the bowl, but DON't put any coals over this big hole. If you are using a circular QL and you're still burning the tobacco with the situation above, just poke a few more small holes around the QL and move it around to a good position. What kind of foil are ya using? If it's heavy duty, one sheet is good, but otherwise try two layers of foil. I hope this helps. Oh and also, if you're tobacco is burning and you want to save the session, it helps to take the bowl off and blow through the bottom of it to cool of the tobacco a bit.
