Mn Hookah Order. Reviews, Etc.

Recommended Posts

once i got an invoice in my paypal, i sent payment, a few days later i got my tracking number. about a day after that i got my stuff!
great prices and the selection is growing. full line of tangiers and other great products. ill order again.

on tangiers shisha:
so everything people said is true.. holy crap this stuff is tough. WOW

i do get that tingle in my throat, its a bit harsh, but for my first try, not bad.

i used 1 quick light broken into 3 pieces, and one half a quicklight. i think its a bit too much heat though.
this stuff will take a little getting used to... wow. the nicotine rush is.. insane.

Reviews:
small phunnel:
design: awesome design. pictures just dont do it justice, the idea and design of the bowl are great. any shisha will work well in this from what i can tell. and its a really universal fit. should fit any Egyptian style hookah. very impressed.
smoke: well its tangiers tobacco and i dont fully know how to use it so its kinda hard to take a full hit, but i can see a shisha like al-waha(my fav) giving absurd smoke.
cons: well.. none. you dont have to use a ton of shisha to make it work.
note: im using the scalli mod, cant say if it helps.. my first and only try. seems to be a good idea. GJ scalli!

tangiers orange soda:
cut: long stringy, not really any stems but theres some clumps, break it up and it will make a fluffy bowl.
smoke: uh.. not too thick, im blaming user error. with 1.5 quicklights, it had some decent thick smoke, like 6 or 7 our of 10 for thickness.
smell: awesome smell outside the ziplock bag, once i got to the actual tobacco it smelled very rich and full. strong tobacco smell like pipe tobacco with a strange but kind of orange scent.
taste: great! very strong taste. no complaints.

mya 72" hose:
came in a nice little mya ziplock bag. nice quality, *very* flexible. the wood end pieces feel very well made. it seems that the actual hose part could be thicker due to the metal ring being larger than the leather part. who knows. i like it.

also i have some new shisha i found locally. made by Fantasia. BuildAHookah.com and Fantasia are one in the same.
i got 6 flavors for $18. i dont know what drove me to get so many flavors..
the cut looks pretty... lame. looks like some weird shredded stuff.. kind of odd yellow color lol
flavors i got: caramel frappaccino, cosmopolitan, sweet red melon(watermellon), cotton candy, bubble gum, and wild mango.
we'll try one later tonight. maybe cotton candy in the phunnel. or whatever someone requests. Edited by Evil_Spork

Just a quick question, how long did you acclimate the tobacco for? I didn't usually acclimate tobacco as I thought (and still think) that it didn't have much affect *BUT* there is an exception to every rule and Tangiers is that exception. Once you acclimate it right that pipe tobacco smell disappears and the flavor of the tobacco really comes out.

oh i forgot mention that. i let it acclimate in a mostly covered tupperware container for like 3-4 hours.

I found some of that stuff too, except I got the frappucino, cotton candy, margarita, pina colada, and cherry cola. The ones I have tried so far have been pretty good, actually. The tobacco is very finely chopped.

I have used some of the largest bowls in creation of Tangiers 2-4 times larger than most bowls and used quicklites (3 Kings 33mm) and never needed more than 1-1.5 or so. With smaller bowls, more like a half. Needing more means you probably put too little tobacco in the bowl, is my guess. It will smoke harsh if you don't have enough tobacco in there and then try to compensate by putting more coal on. As I always say, stir up the tobacco and then put it in the bowl. Don't spread it out, don't pack it down...just lay it out in the bowl and that will land pretty close for you.
