yumeusagi Posted June 9, 2004 Share Posted June 9, 2004 hey everbody im yume and im new around here but not new to the hookah but any who as my title questions has anyone had any success with things of this nature in there hookah? weve tried it a couple times and the flavour of the smoke is nice and creamy and the smoke thick but we cant manage to get it not to froth up into the hose? any suggestions/remedeies Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was a 50/50 skim milk water mix and it STILL got in my mouth. I thought my ingeious idea of putting some foil down around the stem that goes into the water to prevent milk bubbles from going up into the hose... alas no luck. iknewmroctopus Posted June 10, 2004 Share Posted June 10, 2004 I don't think beer would work because it is carbonated. What might work well though is wine. I actually went to this resturant in Quito, Ecuador where they had hookahs that you could rent and one of the options was to put wine in the vase in place of water. I didn't try it but I think that might be good. Also there are these really thick fruit drinks called looza. They are really good by themselves and I don't think that they would bubble up into the hose. You can get them at places like trader joe's and rainbow grocery's or other health food stores. First off milk, sucks... all the time... always, yeah teh smoke is thick but it always bubbles up in the hose... vodka, we used aristocrat with mixed fruit, for maybe a fruity type vodka taste... wow that was a weird one... lots of alcohol/vodka taste, almost sickening, and got buzzed more than usual, not sure if it was from the alcohol filtering hte smoke or not... Baileys Irish Creme and Banna, chocklate bannana flavored hookah, amazing.... make sure u get the irsih cream liquor not their little malt liquor drink.... Boones Farm Stawberry with Strawberry. Not bad, still a large alcohol taste in teh pipe, but no bubbling.... good sh*t. For those of you who dont know what boones farm is... its an extremely cheap wine that you can get at most grocery stores / 7/11s, i think its only a couple dollars per bottle MadDog 20/20 Fruit Punch with mixed fruit. pretty good too, but made the vase real sticky for a while had to boil it out a couple times Andre' Champagne with grape, grape taste, champange didnt do much in my opinion..... thats about all the ones i can remeber Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lickirish Posted February 8, 2005 Share Posted February 8, 2005 I figured that it would be better to revive an old thread than to make a new one, but I was curious if anyone has tried Milk or Cream in their hookah recently? I have tried Chianti (sp?) in it before, and it got me a little more buzzed, but the flavor was less plesant, so not worth it IMO. I usually add OJ to the bubbler when I am smoking Orange/Honey ma'assel mixed. It enhances the orange flavor niceley. Any thoughts? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I never have tired any but I did try pomegranate juice and it was a wonderful smoke, thing is stuff isn't cheap so won't do that but once in a while.
