Getting back into it: what’s good and what’s new?

So I’m an “old head” with hookah, I could recount many tales of the hookah world from dealing with IMCarnochan and that other place, to all sorts of drama, like Starbuzz suing for a can shape….

“Back in my day” we just started to get silicone grommets for our KMs, and the Elmas 628 reigned supreme. Modern hookah design was bad, and traditional was the king, so that’s where I’m coming from

Right now, I have a BYO beater, a KM that I just picked up (I’ll post it later because I have no idea which model it is) and a LaVoo MP5x. Currently running a tangiers small bowl, and that’s typically what I use.

In the past I’ve had plenty of KMs from normal off the shelf to the beautiful jumbo/boho based hand carved,to an Elmas 628 and beyond. 

 

All that said, Id like to know whats good these days to smoke and smoke out of.
