I personally love my 36" Polaris III from SocialSmoke, but would love to have a good 26" because my 36" is top heavy. If you prefer a smaller SS hookah, go for it. ikellen Posted October 15, 2006 Share Posted October 15, 2006 Taller hookahs have taller bases and can hold more smoke. If you aren't taking BIG rips then this won't matter to you too much. I love my 32" MYA, and find I can take bigger pulls than my 18" egyptian. However there are good hookahs out there that can refill that base as quickly as you can empty it, so sometimes it doesn't matter at all. Taller hookahs can also slightly cool the smoke a little more because it travels farther from the bowl to the base, so it cools a little before it hits the water. Ice in the water can level this playing field, so it's not a big thing. Overall it's just preference. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
