Local activist's grandson fatally shot near a hookah lounge Kern Golden Empire Carlton Bruce Mosley, 22, was gunned down Sunday, BPD said it happened in the parking lot of Hookah Lounge and Cigar on California Avenue near Stockdale Highway. Police said this particular hookah lounge has been a problem since its inception.
