It really doesn't require a lot of pressure, at least not for the CH coals I have been using.
They really just kinda flop to each side and since I do it in a ceramic bowl it keeps em from going astray.
Doesn't work as well with the CH quick lights so I think the coals get more fragile as they burn.
I get them in perfect halves at least 90% of the time this way. Edited by Jondd88
